For me, the removal of USB A ports for USB C ports on laptops. You'll be extremely lucky to find 3 A ports and 1 C port on a normie Walmart laptop. Just saying, most USB drives and devices are still built on the A format. Gimme my ports back. C is nice and fast, but you have to buy new USB C storage drives to use it
This. I bought a Dell monitor recently that shipped with just a power and USB-C cable, so you know they're coming for the display ports next.

I miss when we were able to make personal websites that had personality and charm to them rather than this:

template-01-.png

We had this:

spacejam.PNG

I use the internet for fun not for every website to be optimized using a template that will boost traffic to the site. Fuck your site, make it cool and custom.

Every single service in existence having slightly different rules for password creation. Must be between 9 and 11 characters, must include a special character, at least one capital letter, three symbols, and two letters of the Greek alphabet. Oh and you need to change it every six months because fuck you. Just tell people "don't use your mom's name or words in the dictionary" and you're good, everything beyond that is just nonsense for the sake of it. It's not like this needless complexity is going to actually fucking do anything when you niggers inevitably get breached and my data gets leaked because your entire IT department is run by rainbow socks and pajeets.

the URL of the original Space Jam site was changed but it's still up: Space Jam

I think porn site "innovations" influence nonporn sites.

(someone once said that pop up ads came from porn sites)
Didn't porn also heavily influence physical media back in the days? It was either VHS and some other tape format or some compact disc formats.

There's a notion that VHS won out over Betamax because Sony didn't allow publishing of pornography but there was plenty of porn on Beta, VHS won because of its longer running time per cassette. That was important when a tape cost $80, nobody wants to buy 2 cassettes to catch what they could've recorded on one.
Well, that and Sony's insistence on high license fees or only manufacturing in-house. JVC pretty much let anyone make VCRs and tapes.

Edit: ninja'd lmao

Everything without RGB LEDs. No, my video card doesn't need to glow like a rainbow.
Luckily the case mostly blocks it until I figure out which Linux app supports it. Or I pull the shroud off and start unplugging them.
