I hope this post fits here.. It is definitely a trend I dislike at least. Discord just announced some changes. Mainly aesthetics, but spun in words of diffuse inclusion:

They go on a long tirade on why and how they changed the logo, font, and color scheme. The result is not much different:

Now, I have my issues with discord but they are mainly tied to the fact that every channel I've been active in has sooner or later turned into a den of complete degeneracy (trannies and catbois). The change above might not be an improvement but I'm not going to be upset. The people in comment section, however, not so much. Just a random example:

Am I a boomer for shaking my head at this? Maybe. Was it surprising that discord messed up the least messed up thing on their product? Maybe not. Oh well..
