Try to switch to another computer. Helped me. Alternatively, switch circuits.Anyone else unable to see embedded YT videos, since using Tor? I just get these Capchas, that buffer indefinitely

If you're using Brave's Tor window, open z.youtube.com in a tab (it should be the page not found error), use the menu to get a new Tor circuit, then try visiting youtube.com in a new tab. If youtube.com redirects you to the bot check, close it to return to your z.youtube.com tab, and get a new Tor circuit again until you find one that works. It usually takes a few tries, but it's not outrageous.Anyone else unable to see embedded YT videos, since using Tor? I just get these Capchas, that buffer indefinitely

If you're using Tor Browser, that clears all cookies etc when you close it down. The site sees you as an entirely new person when you connect again because your session cookie is gone.Sorry if this has been answered but search isn't working for me. Is the auto sign in not working? It's fine if it's a thing right now, I just didn't know if I did something wrong. It makes me sign in every time I come to the site. Yes I checked the box and I'm on Tor

Right click open video in new tab can also make it work.I'm having mire trouble than usal getting archived videos to play. Most of the time they show up as being 00:00 long. I've refreshed the page multiple times, switched circuits and cleared my cache. Nothing. Is there something else I can try?

Invidious Masterrace.
If history is any indicator it will be a cat and mouse game.Any Invidious instance will do.
I wonder how Invidious will react to YouTube's new anti-ad blocking agenda.
Tor traffic shouldn't be leaking out to any DNS servers, because that would be bad, since anyone would know what domain you're visiting/requesting.Could changing your DNS servers help? I was using the default dns addresses my ISP game me, but switched to cloudfare and OpenDNS and tor connections seem a smidge more reliable now.
fair, I'm a bit fuzzy about how the connection from one's computer to the first node in the tor network is made and sustained.Tor traffic shouldn't be leaking out to any DNS servers, because that would be bad, since anyone would know what domain you're visiting/requesting.
DNS is not encrypted.
this is much more likely than doing anything with DNS, if you have an IPv6 setup and anything in the chain between you and the Internet is doing something fucky with IPv6, it can cause all sorts of weird issues and errors, especially since the IPv6 setups often fail "partially" - they work, but are slow, drop packets, etc.But it does seem to be helping a lot on my end. but I did also disable ipv6 as i was having network quality issues and was trying a few ways to fix it. As it is the site is currently very responsive and everything works.
