  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
For a bit of time preview of my notifications has been whack for few months. It only show 1-3 of the latest and then skips few years back ignoring multitude between. The notif counter goes with the preview, it only shows 1-3 when in reality I might have gotten more, but I have to go to see all tab to read them.
I'm not active enough for it to matter to me, but there were few interactions I missed out on due to this.

ETA- I have some issues with attachments today, even if they show 100% there is no preview and when post is saved, the attachments are lost.

So that's why Tor Browser works for vid uploads while Chrome fails. I thought it was a network problem.
 
Trying to upload a 138MB MP4 (youtube mirror) and it uploads to 100% then gets stuck and doesn't load into the post. Is there any way for me to fix that?
EDIT: Just saw Null's reply above, I'll try firefox.
EDIT2: Tried Firefox with CTRL+F5 and fresh login, upload drops/fails at 10-15%.

yeah uploads are broken. tor and firefox can sometimes work better. i don't know what you want me to say. the issue is that the reverse proxy i've built for some reason chokes huge uploads. i've spent probably 100+ hours fiddling with config to try and get it working better but you're talking about TCP-NGINX-NGINX-PHPFPM as a pipeline. I don't know where it's breaking, nobody I've spoken to can figure it out, and I can't really let random people look at the config or access the servers. I can't help you. Try Tor or FireFox.

For the past ten minutes, the formatting on Kiwifarms pages has been really fucked up with the frames being misaligned and HTML display errors. It is the same whether on Firefox mobile or Tor mobile.

Is @Null tinkering with something again?

I'm having the same issue. My console has a net::ERR_INCOMPLETE_CHUNKED_ENCODING error and "Manifest: Line: 1, column: 1, Syntax error." Hope that helps.
 
I'm getting new page directs for reactions and confirmation requests whether I want to give them. I get null hates stickers but jfc. Its unusable if you accidentally click like.

Quote and reply are also borked
 
Formatting is broken, site doesn't look too hot right now, and unlike when this usually happens it is not fixed by a refresh. I may or may not have posted this with a huge image, I legitimately will not be able to know before this image posts. Tried to upload a screenshot and got no option to thumbnail, so if there's a giant image here that's why.

Yeah uploads are 100% broken for me on Tor and clearnet. On clearnet it gets to 100% then throws a 500 error, on Tor it immediately fails with a 500 error.

Also CSS isn't loading. On Tor it just gives a 0B response, on clearnet it says ERR_INCOMPLETE_CHUNKED_ENCODING. If I disable all content encoding methods in the Brave devtools, I get ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH as it only transferred 131 KB of the expected 402 KB.
