There is an issue with the similar post function.
In A&N I went to post an article, but CatParty had already posted it prior. It had the exact same name as my article of course but what was pretty far down the list for similar content. Would it be better to change the system to look for exact name matches?

That's too bad, because Elasticsearch is amazing. One of those things I love to use since it's not that hard to get working once I got the basics down, but it makes me look like an absolute wizard to my clients.
Maybe the index isn't being updated in real time?

On mobile, when I make a post it appears to be stuck in preview mode. Won't let me add lines or use any other features for post making. I have clicked on the preview button to turn it off, refresh page, and logged out/in. Issue still persists. However, this issue doesn't occur when I'm on computer just only my phone. This issue only been occurring since Monday.

Judging by the second picture, it looks like you just put yourself in BBCode mode. Tap the right-most three vertical dots to open a drop-down menu, then press the button that looks like
[ ] to go back to WYSIWYG mode.But the screenshots don't seem to match with the text of your post, so who knows.

I was reading some previous posts about ProtonVPN. I can get it for free and wanted to use it did anyone find a way for it to work here?

That shit blocks anything remotely crypto and that one completely optional miner triggered it forever. Always turn that shit off. One of the more annoying things about the more widely used VPNs is they then think they need to "protect" you from sites you're deliberately accessing.

Phonefag, I know, but somehow I can't manage to get rid of the first quoted message on mobile. I'm using Brave on Android, by the way.
I hit delete, but instead of deleting the whole quote it justs removes the message inside of it leaving an useless empty quote on top of my message. I even tried selecting the entire post and then hit delete but no luck so far.
Even if I send my reply with an empty quote on top, does it still ping the mentioned user or not?
On desktop however I can manage to remove the pesky quote just fine, so I assume it's a mobile only thing.

I did, and they fixed it for a week, and then it broke again. I assume they're using 3rd-party blocklists, so when they update them they mess everything up again.

If you switch to bbcode you can delete the code for the quote.

I believe there is a maintainer specifically of the idiotic crypto section where they block anything remotely crypto-related, and the autist, or one of the autists who maintain this is a troon or something who has it in for the Farms. We initially got swept up because of a (completely opt-in) Monero miner.
Never mind that it's idiotic to blanket block crypto in general anyway, but even if you thought it was a good idea, it's been implemented with intense and persistent autism and stupidity. Blocklist autists are some of the worst.
