Feedback Technical Grievances

Been getting KiwiFlare tests 5-6 page loads in a row when first loading the site, broken css and random "oops" errors when adding reacts, notification dropdown, etc.. & also regular sneedchat disconnects (every 30s-1m or so) from NZ/AU VPNs, cleared cache and all that but issues still persist, using Firefox. Site works beautify from a Netherlands VPN though (except for sneedchat, still disconnecting) so i'm not too fussed, worth reporting either way

I just added a comment to a thread. Went to edit it, nothing much happened - no loading animation. Refreshed the page, my edit was open, made my changes, clicked Save and - m-m-m-m-m-multi-post!



I also still cannot add any more attachments or embeds in my most recent unfinished post in that thread like was happening before the "The DDoS attack seems fully mitigated." status was added. Now it shows 500 Internal Server Error at the top of the page and the "loading image", or similar, overlay popup never appears, and the "Drop videos (Or click here)" drop down doesn't close itself.

*edit* yeah there's still problems. I could add this screenshot to this post but not make it display properly. When I edit it, the embedded screenshot in this post displays normally for me, but not after I save and look at it in the normal thread view. I also got a full page 500 error when trying to come back to this thread

*edit2* now the screenshots are appearing for me in this post normally. Unsure if you're fixing things as I rant and struggle or if things are just still as temperamental as I am currently

All image attachments I have been posting at the moment have attached well (I can resize them as thumbnails afterwards, for example, but the first image attachment I posted in the above post won't embed itself properly in my post, being presented instead as a text with a URL link:

Wanted to update that I tried my work isp which I rarely ever access the site with and got the same issue. Thinking its just something odd going on in the route to the site in my area.

it'd be nice if browsers had a built in resize function for image uploading. As in the upload call lists parameters for what kind of uploads are allowed and how big, and if the file the user attempts to upload is too big the browser will offer to resize or compress if possible.

That being said, I've had posts fail with an error message, which is solved by opening a random page in a new tab and letting it solve the cryptographic challenge

I've noticed a few images busted in the Chibi thread, but not certain if it's due to what happened to the site or just being old posts.

I get tons of broken images (like every other avatar on this page) but they don't have any message when opening on a new tab they just simply do not load.

Yes I would also like some practical magic at THIS point in time.

Lets get our priorities straight can we? Thread title is "technical grievances" not "my faggy nerd wish list"

please don't use this thread to chitchat. I just need reports about bugs.

I've changed the North American fronend a bit more and restarted them. Lmk if there's still issues. CTRL+F5 before reporting anything.

None of my pics shows. Can't post the screen (obviously), but it looks uploaded, just it doesn't show. It doesn't insert either.

(this post, to me, only show the name of the file)
 
I’m not sure if this is quite what you want, but I’m trying to write a post with 62 attachments. Most loaded just fine, but others immediately load in, and there is no preview image, and it just puts a space into the text box when I try to add it into the post. Also, trying to open the file in another tab works sometimes, other times I get “safari can’t open the page because the connection was lost” (I’m a mobile user most of the time, don’t make fun of me).
