See this mate? This is a rating that uses a spritesheets. You see the CSS on the <img /> tag? The image itself is clear, but the background is a spritesheet.

I understand what you are saying and I'm just trying to give you info and make it clear what the issue is.

The spritesheet.png loads fine.

Okay, well allow me to reiterate: the clear.png is working as intended and does not indicate a software glitch. Your cache is bad.
 
Hey Null, did you just make a change within the last hour or so? Because for the first time in over a year, I uploaded a file attachment and immediately had the option to embed the file.

For well over a year, I've had to save the draft and refresh before that showed up.

I cache to memory. I changed that to disk and there is no change, though the spritesheet is cached.

Yes, I updated the software.
 
It's not often, but once every 15-20 connections I get a cloudflare ray error.

We have to disable the SWF uploader to mask the server IP. The fallback was just a regular form. They've changed that to a secure HTML 5 uploader.

Same here.

Meanwhile, I tried Ctrl + F5 on the forums at .net, still getting the error. Also having the issue with Safari on mobile.

For me on mobile Safari it's hit or miss. Sometimes ratings work, sometimes they don't, I don't know what changes.
 
One of the hot pockets said in chat that IP checks aren't that useful anymore because the IP data is only retained for a day. You should store salted SHA hashes of the IP addresses so you can still cross-check for tard socks without the data being very useful for other purposes.

But then the site could be compelled to turn over the key. Or, at least its enemies could demand it. Alternatively, if the addresses no longer exist then there's no way to turn them over, and that sends a signal not to even bother ransoming dox/harassment because it would be impossible to satisfy such a demand.

Are some pics broken for other users or just me?
 
Pictures also aren't loading for me either. Sometimes on mobile I can open them in a new tab, if I can get a link to them and they will load, otherwise they're just dead. But not even a new tab will load it on my desktop. Just the top 50px of the image loads and then it hangs forever.
