Very true, but I think it's the men who have the guns.

They can't face the fact that extremism is what leads to tragedies like these because they'd have to face the fact that they're not as ideologically pure as they believe. Violent people with extreme views are the real danger, no matter what group they identify with. Still, the most credit I can give these people is the fact that I haven't seen any people go OMAR DID NOTHING WRONG yet...but it's only a matter of time before those mass murderer fan fucks show up

How fucking hard is it to acknowledge that some Muslims are radical extremists who absolutely despise everyone who isn't them? No one is asking you to blame all Muslims, but it's like these people are incapable of not lumping everyone together (all republicans are evil, all Muslims are good, etc).

Maybe it's that they've never really suffered in their lives, so as far as they know being told they have to pass enough that nobody questions them using the other bathroom is literally as much suffering as being thrown off a building.

The scary part of all this for me is that my aunt lives a few blocks away from where this whole thing occurred. Nothing must be more terrifying than realizing that one of the biggest mass shootings in history took place near your home.
