Inactive Terry A. Davis / Terrence Andrew Davis - Creator of TempleOS (formerly LoseThos/sparrowOS)

I really do wish he had gotten just the tiniest bit of help, a real friend or something, because it might have made all the difference. The times that he had time to just sit down and talk about what he loved, like computing he became so coherent, even when was really going off the deep end.

But you can't change the past. Rest in peace.

As Christians and right-thinking people are increasingly repressed from speaking freely on the internet, the spirit behind Temple OS is more relevant than ever. Internet Juche, which I believe Temple OS was the start of an attempt at, might be achievable through home-brew OSs on networks of home-built PCs (or at least it’s worth a try - we know Yet Another Twitter Clone won’t work).

Terry was truly ahead of his time. He could sense that the way of the world would lead us to where all this great technology would become perverted under the stranglehold of corrupt powers that be, and that Internet Juche would be the only solution.
I am a "left-thinking" individual and i feel sad to see the founder of TempleOs dead.

The thread just gives me that vibe. Miss you.

I don't have much to add to this thread except Terry A.Davis was a brilliant and tortured soul. A person that had ti endure a lot during his life. In a different world and dimension he would have been the pioneer, the new Bill Gates, someone people would be jealous about.
In a society where people pretend to be mentally retarded just to excuse their shit behavior, Terry was a brilliant mind crippled by a real disease.

Glowing CIA niggers got to him in the end.

The world was a better place when Terry was alive. It's a much worse place now that he is gone. I don't know how related it is, but I feel that the world wouldn't look so dreary if Terry was still here.

Maybe it was on purpose. Maybe it was an accident. Either way, the world is worse off without him. I'd give up every laugh I had thanks to him if it meant he could have gotten the help he deserved.

Rest in peace, Terry. Put in a good word for us with Mr. God, will you? The world is fucked and some of us might be joining you sooner than intended.

It reminds of how Methuselah's death in the Bible was what ushered the end of the old world. His legacy really was Biblical if you think about it.

hey, new terry fan here... does anybody have a link to his "commandments" from templeOS?
RIP
