About Me:
I was a National Merit Scholar with a 1440 SAT at Arizona State University.
Here are my ASU Transcripts. I have a bachelor's in Computer System Engineering
from ASU, basically, embedded systems, and a master's in Electrical Engineering
from ASU, control systems. I worked as a software, hardware and mechanical
engineer at Ticketmaster from 1990-1996. I designed a 3 axis
stepper-motor-driven milling machine 1996-1997 with a CAD/CAM package for a
company I started called Home Automation and Robotic Equipment. I worked for a
company named Xytec Corp. 1997-1999. We made FPGA-based image processing
equipment. I wrote SimStructure from 2000-2001 for H.A.R.E. I worked as head
software/electrical engineer for a company called Graphic Technologies,
2001-2002, making replacement chips for toner printer cartridges so they could
be refilled.

Late 90s but it seemed to be under control whilst he was staying with his parents as they seemed to made sure that he takes his meds.
That stopped in about mid 2016 or so when he stopped taking meds and started drinking. This is essentially when he started the videos and we got gems like "jewish pig".

I genuinely hope to see Terry rise from the ashes and create his newly refined OS once he actually has a computer again. I guess he lost his van since I last saw him, though im honestly not sure what the hell his situation is anymore at this point. this thread is a treasure trove of hilarity though

Yep thats me.

Terry is now uploading videos to his website via FTP instead of YouTube for some reason, someone has also changed his website.

Fuck's sake....and people rated me A-log when I said some not complementary things about this freakshow. How can you be defensive of THAT, even if he is off his meds?

Why not upload to archive.org or YouTube? I trust their longevity more than Mega. I don't think copyright takedowns are a issue.

To clarify, this is for archive.org. Youtube of course can take down whatever they deem offensive.

According to Internet Archive FAQ: "You may contribute content to the Internet Archive if it's in the public domain or if you own the rights to it."

There appears to be 10 Terry related collections on archive.org. I don't know if Terry would or could take them down.
According to templeos.org (nice site redesign), all content is in public domain. So everything on /Videos/ is safe.

medication isnt always the answer and i doubt him not taking them is the only reason he ended like this

You have very little experience with psychotics if you think that medical regimes aren't a pretty vital part of treatment. Terry could go without an antipsychotic... if you lobotomized him or subjected him to electroshock therapy, but the first is illegal to treat psychotic disorders and the second is a tool of last resort. Do you legitimately believe that severe neurotransmitter imbalances can simply be talked better?

Terry is a textbook case for schizophrenia really. Medication does have it's side effects but would improve his quality of life a lot and it's the only way we know how to treat it at this point. Sadly he's caught in the catch 22 many people like him are that he's literally too insane to realize he needs help and won't get more sane to realize it without getting help. Treatment with neuroleptics is also not a fire and forget thing and he'd both have to be cooperative with a doctor over a long to find the right stuff for him and also strictly stick to his regimen and also adjust it when necessary. Another thing with people in his case sadly also is that they feel a lot better because of the medication and then stop taking it as the side effects seem severe and they just feel normal besides them. I don't see Terry getting better how the system works. All I see in his future is sadly a shorted life expectancy which again is not rare for schizophrenics.

It's up for grabs and inconclusive if schizophrenia by itself is degenerative. (meaning, getting worse with time, taking away from a person's personality and nerocognitivie abilities) There are some studies that suggest that there are structural changes to the brain that impair the affected person permanently and many of the very modern studies lend credence to that and make it the most likely thing at this point. People need to understand the difference between "mental illness" (some tumblrite claiming he has aspergers/ocd/whatever-else-is-fashionable) and genuine mental illness which has biological roots and can't be willed away as much as you can't will away a broken leg. This common thought that these sorts of problems are really just character flaws is really bad for the affected people, sadly the tumblrites really are making it worse for them in the way of social stigma and such.

Coming back to Terry, as he documents his disease in a way you can really tell how he got worse over time, in his behavior, his thinking and his writing. You don't need to be a specialist to see that.
