What is this, a formal debate? We're a bunch of shitposters on a meme forum, not politicians. We not allowed to see the obvious gaps in certain medical systems without having a 5-step plan?

So everything on this forum must be memes lol? We're having a serious conversation in this thread, and yes, I'm calling out MirnaMinkoff for must saying "there oughtta be a law" without having either the strength of conviction or the true understanding of the issue necessary to formulate how this issue could be solved through legislation.

Probably the best solution is to let Schizophrenics select a caregiver when they're at their most lucid, which would solve some, but not most, of these sorts of cases. Anything more complicated requires experience in the field and with the law. So, I guess, nobody is allowed to think about anything more complicated than that?

Not only are they allowed to think about that, I'm explicitly requesting that they do so.

I don't believe his suicide was him giving up.

Is it known for certain yet that his death was a result of suicide? From what I recall, the train's conductor's opinion is all we have to go by to account this as suicide so far.

It is a grave mistake to assume that any particular case of schizophrenia is treatable. We do not know as much about the human brain as Big Pharma implies in their ads.

How bad we talking about? You have a source?

Nothing monstrous, and a lot of it could be chalked up to schizophrenia.

It more would have been non-Hollywood friendly than gotten him jailed.

Read the actual book “A beautiful mind” it details much of it, the movie was a bit silly in its cliches and totally ignoring many things about Johns life.

Almost all the claims about bad behavior go back to him being delusional, except the nurse he got pregnant and then abandoned.

It’s funny to read how they acted like the accusations of gay sex were so terrible in 2001. Now they’d catch shit for not celebrating John exploring his bisexuality.

One of the most interesting lolcows I've ever looked into.
It's sad to see how badly his illness fucked him over. Terry was a smart guy, his manic episodes gave him the energy to either;
A) Use the delusion that God is talking to you to create an extremely unique OS based on your past experience
B) Run into the middle of fucking nowhere until you get pulled over
C) *casually says "nigger" at some dude on the street
You know what? He picked all three. (and more) It was a fucking riot. I still laugh my ass off to his videos this day. But now watching anything revolving around him gives off more sad undertones.
If only they could've helped him more. RIP Terry <3 (:_(

He didn't really yell it. He just sort of casually said "hey nigger" to some guy walking by, like that was the guy's name or something.

The only times Terry yelled nigger at someone was when one of his dipshit livestream chat trolls acted like a complete and total nigger, therefore deserving being called that.

This is actually one of the more sane King Terry videos and it's almost as he's become self-aware, even more than when he was medicated and living with his parents.
I've missed it the first time around, definitely worth watching

He did mention seeing Terry around a lot.

Yeah, Terry made lots of videos just wandering around the neighborhood and talking to people and Mr. God.
The people seemed to know him.

There's actually a form of OCD called "Pedophile OCD" (POCD) where one worries incessantly about the thought that they are a pedophile, even though they clearly aren't and have no intentions of ever harming a child.
Oh shit that poor crazy guy with the yoshi avatar who is always talking about getting cheated out of metrosexual school and forced into a life of manliness.

Hi Guys,

I hope you don't mind me signing up and posting in this thread. I'm wondering if you guys can help me, I'm on a quest to create the "best" most comprehensive biography (kind of but more autistic) of Terry.

I think the mans genius and story deserves to live in, this thread was one of the best sources of materials I have read about Terry Davis.

I've done my best to write this up and this will serve pretty well as a starting point, but your feedback on my article would be really appreciated:

https://www.256kilobytes.com/conten...-a-davis-the-greatest-programmer-to-ever-live

Have I missed anything obvious out? Is everything factually correct?

I've tried to include as many sources and information as I can but sifting through 1000's of hours of video and reading every page of this thread at least 5 times made shit hard. There is just so much.

Feedback would be appreciated, please don't ban me.

the writeup seems pretty comprehensive and seems like it took a lot of work, so good job!

in the links below though i think you should include the down the rabbit hole video which has 1.2 million views currently and is arguably responsible for him being known to a somewhat wider audience than just internet spergs.

Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I look forward to it.

I also love how even the style of your site is almost like a tribute to Terry. I just hope you archived all those videos and images because there's nothing worse than a dead link.

Edit: here's an archive link just in case:

There is still probably more to info to be dug up if people are willing to go as far as interviewing old classmates, neighbors, or close family members. They might consider it invasive though.
Yeah, it'd be cool to be able to talk to someone who worked with him during the TicketMaster days, both in terms of his work there and his mental state.
