Yeah, I the best way to avoid conflicts with neighbours is to make them think you are nuts.
That doesn't necessarily mean that he had to speak to them, his auro just screams nutter.
On another note, I'd love to have a beer with Terry.
He seems to a pretty avant garde dude and his taste in music is pretty sweet (Black Sabbath, Metallica and now Primus).

I would have a beer with Terry in private. Not in public, because he'd call some guy a nigger, the guy would be pissed off, realize Terry was crazy but I wasn't, and just punch me in the face instead.

I wonder if Terry has retained his interest and skills from before he went insane (which would have been the late 90s).
His OS looks and acts like something from that era, his taste in music is also pre 2k.
He is a time capsule of sorts.

I think it looks like that because god told him so. God told him what kind of resolution his os should have, and what the compatibility it has to have. Im not joking, apparently god said his os should only get updates every 50 years or so.

The normal version of it kinda tastes like a less strong RC cola. It's sold as another dollar store/gas station cheap soda that you can get real cheap, which is likely why Terry buys tons of it. It's mostly found in the western part of the USA and sometimes in dollar stores outside that area.

Terry's whole plan for that "TempleOS PC" was a throwback to the Commodore 64 where that system barely/never got updated until it was discontinued and where everyone had the same exact system, unless you count maybe the Commodore 128 or unreleased Commodore 65. While this meant that the system never really got many improvements or that systems which were improved never got much software to take advantage of them (such as the case with the Amiga AGA chipset or the Atari STe/Falcon), this did mean that anyone could run code on anyone's computer without having to worry about buying an upgrade card or something. The same thing happened with a lot of home computers. He also wants the OS in the rom of every Intel powered system, as BASIC was in the ROM of every computer back in the day.

It's the same reason Terry thinks the CIA is taking away physical media and makes ultimatums to the big tech companies. He wants those days back badly.

This video is bad, even for Terry.
He said he sent a nude video to some woman and after that sought salvation from some Nigerian priest who told him to take the OS off the net.
He ends it with "I don't know if I'm dead or what..."
