Inactive Terry A. Davis / Terrence Andrew Davis - Creator of TempleOS (formerly LoseThos/sparrowOS)

All he had to do was to take his pills. Why schizos are allowed to decide not to take their meds is beyond me. The result is always the same: ruined lives.
When Reagan cut federal funding for long term inpatient mental institutions he effectively destroyed them. Terry was committed on more than one occasion for short term stays. To get long term committed you pretty much have to be a violent felon along with being crazy. Think John Hinkley Jr tier. He's the guy who tried to assassinate Reagan to impress Jodie Foster. A bit of ironing in that. He was actually recently released, with conditions, in 2016. He spent 33 years in a mental institution.

Therese has made a post which was not previously visible public.

He did that a while ago. Someone in thread asked him why his vids were down and he never answered, or even posted on KF at all after that. If what is being said about him is true, he might end up getting a thread of his own.

Let's not forget the time he impersonated Terry to try and start some kind of gay trolling on Dana Marie Cain/Oracle of Venus' thread.

Not sure if quoting works through two different threads, but here:

I'm still a little bit confused. It seems to me that there have been two, unrelated deceptions going on. There's the FB deception by The Temple but there's also the deception around people from 4chan gaining control of some of Terry's legit accounts and possibly diverting donations (something which was suspected prior to this blowing up).

This idea that Reagan unleashed all the crazies onto the street is at best an oversimplification and at worst disingenuous. The deinstitutionalization movement began in the 1950s among the scientific community and counterculture (Ken Kesey's "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is an example of this), and picked up steam among state governments in the 1960s and 1970s looking to balance their budgets. By the time Reagan became President, the movement had already achieved most of its goals. This article in the NY Times from 1984 is illustrative: "How Release of Mental Patients Began"

So in other words it seems legit, it's just she (most likely understandably) doesn't want to go in depth on it. Damn....

Yeah, it looks like the family has learned to keep a lot of stuff friends only. When I was checking some of their accounts yesterday, I only found public mention of the mother's death on one account - even her husband didn't mention it publicly - and even that was in the middle of "totally normal day" type posts.

Again, very understandable in this situation.

This seems to be the best confirmation we'll get. As I mentioned earlier, the facebook account was memorialised because I emailed support telling them to check with her, just in case anyone's concerned about that. The account was almost certainly not a larp, since he did lots of posts in smaller groups which were clearly him. I've posted some in /cow/, but here's another.

If he's only known for Terry shit, we could just use this thread.

There were two sides to that. What I can gather from 8chan threads was that autismosis was kicked out of the Terry inner circle and he then claimed that the IRC clique (including tsheikhs who met up with Terry IRL and helped during the homeless journey) had control over all his accounts and was taking their money Idea Guy style (along with being mods on the /tech/ board), while others claimed that autismosis had control. Since it's chan drama, nobody knows what really happened.

It started when he deleted the link to the IRC channel on the site, which is how Terry was able to get into IRC, leading to him losing his FTP privileges:

Not long after /pol/ threads popped up about how the IRC users were pulling an Idea Guy style move on Terry and this led to fighting on /tech/ and /cow/, along with tsheikhs leaving the IRC and wiping his web presence.

Oh for sure, especially when you have some deranged imageboard autists like @The Temple following a schizophrenic programmer online.

You're right. I shouldn't have implied that it was all Reagan's fault. As you noted there was a social movement to deinstitutionalize as horrors like Willowbrook made in into the public consciousness. I was unaware of states legislating it, be but it was my understanding that when Reagan effectively repealed Carter's Mental Health Services Act, it was the nail in the coffin that ended widespread, longterm mental healthcare.

I dont know, I mean I didnt follow the dude enough, and havent followed the "drama", but even I saw that the dude was in Terry's facebook when he put up that one video--which was the first time I got a bit suspicious.

Really the only CIA Nigger Conspiracy Theory that I can buy is that if the dude made a fake Terry profile to get "in", he could have also spoofed other profiles.

I mean, the sister suddenly un-privating the post is a little suspect. If she wanted to keep it private, enough to private it in the first place, she would keep it private--not "unprivate" it in the middle of a bunch of drama. It's one or the other, you know? I get that maybe that account is getting a bunch fo attention now, and maybe that would get them into revealing it, but again, it seems like one of those all-or-nothing things.

I believe it, I dont want it to be true, but Im still waiting for something like a genuine obituary.

It was a description on her profile picture update which was public, none of the posts are public.

EDIT: /tech/ thinks The Temple was doxxed somewhere. Why don't we have that?
