The Saudi's are jumping in more on the EV Gold Rush train with wedge cars, in the "way too late" fashion:

Bentley has revealed their 1st EV, the SUV Torcal. It's on the same platform as the Porsche Cayenne EV, so it shares similar traits, including that dumb sloped infotainment screen:

Isn't car & driver that rag which always lists "doesn't emit that gaping-ass exhaust note you love because it reminds you of dear ol' dad" as a con for modern vehicles?

I'd rather live in a city full of Tesla Cybertrucks than one light-duty pickup truck driven by an ill-equipped chode with a chip on his shoulder and a dildo up his ass (ie - any ICE pickup truck driver).

Stellantis is fucked fucked. I found out today that they don't offer any of the 3.0L I6 Hurricane engines in any of their newer Grand Cherokees, just a jankey 4 cylinder turbo. The only way to get them is in a Wagoneer and at those prices Ill just buy a used BMW or Mercedes.

These things were butt ugly. Porsche can make their 911s and Caymans look sexy without huge front grilles. Why did Mercedes put a fake piece of plastic that didn't harmonize with the car there? Were they trying to make it look like a potato?

ELBOWS UP LEAFLAND, as GEELY is coming to dump more of their shitty ass EVs there.

And Huawei-JAC’s Maextro V800 (a $150k van) has faced criticism due to their brake pedals breaking easily:




In response to this, Huawei-JAC announced that they will offer to upgrade the brake pedals for owners, but didn't admit fault or apologize for it.

And other Chinese automakers like BYD have showcased their brake pedals to both brag and poke fun:

And it's once again yet another example of Chinese "quality", and rushing out products, just like video games that are rushed and released buggy as hell.

Rivian will be removing the seatback fans on their ventilated seats in the R2 due to excessive noise. Seatback fans ARE the reason why people buy cars with ventilated seats to begin with, and it looks more like a cost-cutting measure.
