The 100mpg carburetor is a boomer old wives tale. It keeps getting repeated over and over again. Makes a good story for old fat guys to impress themselves but holy shit is it tired and dumbThat's objectively the worst thing possible for an engine, start-stop shit is always bad.
Also, regarding fuel costs, this video is genuinely interesting and appears to show the true potential of a fucking carburetor.
Now, if dyno results show that this is a viable way to keep power + get insane fuel economy equivalent to an older hybrid vehicle (nearly 40MPG on a v8 engine), that would just completely nullify all of this niggertech shit on ICEs today, just imagine if this dude was able to get 40mpg on a v8 engine, just think about a v6, i6, i4 or i3 engine (assuming there ever was an i3 engine that was carbureted).
If dyno results show that power is still there with that carbureted engine getting insane mpg, then that dude needs to release any and all specs asap before he gets killed like the guy that invented an ICE that runs on water (not hydrogen, just plain water).
Yea. After the tax credits expired for Tesla, they dropped prices. Model S had a few small cuts as well (obviously raises since then)Did Tesla ever reduce the prices of their cars? All I keep seeing is Tesla car prices going up, because Elon Musk wanted a larger snobbery fee for their cars.
And that's when some EVs are going down in price, i.e. the 2023 MY Chevrolet Bolt EV and EUV getting $5-6k price cuts. And the Nissan Leaf is getting some visual updates for the 2023 MY model, and the price remains unchanged from the 2022's price cuts.
They also included more content for same price a number of times.
Eventually it will be like this. Once the market is EV dominant for some time. Junkyards will do the initial sorting and classing of subassemblies destined for recycling. As far as pricing, EV’s seem to target the median competitor in the segment plus 3 years of fuel costs. That will change as the technology Matures.Well fuck, I was hoping that it would be almost the equivalent to getting an ICE rebuilt to peak efficiency at the very least, being about $5k or just an engine swap you can DIY for less than $1k or pay someone to do it for about $2k for the engine + labor. So it seems I'll just stick to an ICE for the rest of my life until niggertech stops (which will be never it's looking like).
But cars are now disposable no matter how much you wish that they were not. It’s been like this for 40 years for some manufacturers like GM and Chrysler.
But people still manage to keep some old 93 park avenue or 03 Altima running as depressing poverty junkers that probably just keep their owners poor from having to constantly repair them or lost wages from not being able to get to work. Been there, done that, lucky I got out from
Under that vicious cycle
The EV market is still very young.
Outside of Tesla and a very small handful of competitors that miss the mark, there are no viable EV’s in mass production that can really dent ICE sales. Only dorks and cheapskates buy Bolts and you’re retarded for buying a rivian etc that are barely out of prototype production.
