Is Tesla Gay?

To be fair, credit given when due. Tesla no doubt made EVs popular and attractive when they released the Model S over a decade ago. All the legacy auto companies only played catch up until now when we have somewhat parity in price to performance and features from the legacy auto makers and some new guys like Rivian. Tesla needs to innovate to remain relevant in the EV space going forward instead of resting on their laurels of being the apple of EV cars.
The thing Tesla did differently than everyone else was make EVs a status symbol for the wealthy. The Nissan Leaf and other EVs all tried to be as efficient as possible, assuming their buyers wanted to actaully minimize their energy usage. Elon Musk understood that nobody actually cares about that gay shit, they want to look cool, feel cool, and tell everyone who sees them how morally superior they are. That's why they have huge batteries and waste tons of energy on blistering 0-60 times.

exactly, as much as people mock Musk now, the silly bullshit like the volume going up to 11 and other bullshit like that was pandering to the type of retard that would buy an EV, he understood its easier to get the techbros on board vs hippies because the techbros can drop thousands on dumb bullshit. making a car that people looked at with envy instead of mockery like every other EV was the reason they became market dominant so quickly. the prius was a punchline for a decade before the model S came out and it took until the last 3 months before people really started hating on Tesla cars, despite them being owned by the shittest people.

they won't, in a way Tesla is like a modern reboot of ford, a century ago it was a car company that also used a different style of engine compared to all the other car manufacturers at the time and became the market leader in the ICE space by a huge margin, but the founder being stuck in his ways and refusing to innovate and him losing in court and in the public eye meant losing market share, companies like GM and Dodge eventually were able to overtake them.

I personally feel cybertruck is going to go down in its history books as where people started to turn on them. the competitors are finally catching up, the 3rd best selling EV isn't a tesla anymore and the monopoly is starting to weaken. Musk's only hope is that by focusing so much on government bullshit this and next year, by the time he comes back to tesla they'll have figured out some massive improvement that fucks over the rest of the car companies because Tesla sales peaked in 2023 and they're going to run out of cybertruck pre-orders this year, no wonder he latched on hard to trump, because SpaceX is his only growing venture. Cybertaxi is so retarded it makes Cybertruck seem like a good idea and his exhibitions are being called out by bigger names and a lot quicker than a decade ago when he was having home depot illegals make the model 3 in empty parking lots.

I think Musk might flame out by 2030. Tesla hate is mainstream and even before that they struggled with sales. they can't make a cheaper model 3 and DOGE is going to trigger a depression with all the cuts its making.

this was also when power was much cheaper and you could actually save a pretty significant amount on your electric bill by using leds… which seem to cost the same now as incandescent did back then.
That's because thanks to green energy zealots, we now have to pay for two grids instead of one. Electricity would be half the cost as it is today if we hadn't invested trillions in a duplicate grid that's only useful for part of the day at best.

Tesla is interesting. Their cars seem to be decent for what they are, but they aren't a sudden major upheaval in the car industry that people make them out to be.
If you can get a used model 3 or Y, that's in a good condition with inspection, that's under 20k or so, not a bad deal.
Granted it's funny to see other EVs that are sold at tesla prices or high, falling insanely fast in value, and the cope from owners about how much they lost on them.
The EV reddits are a hilarious read right now.
They kinda were a big deal, they kinda started off the big wave of EVs coming out and showed that EVs were now much more usable.

Teslas were electric, but not miserable to drive or look at. Before Tesla electric cars were completely unmarketable, basically ultra-budget exteriors and interiors, golf cart motors, and not enough battery to drive for more than an hour if you also wanted to run the AC, which was necessarily so small it couldn’t even keep up with a warm day in Northern Europe. You couldn't drive during winter in the first place not that you'd want to try since there was also no heater. And despite all these negatives, they were still way more expensive than petrol cars which didn’t have those flaws. If you were in the market for a cheap car you’d buy an old Volvo or VW, not spend twice that on a REVAi.

You know what I find pathetic about Tesla owners? The fact these losers all have gay ass vinyl wraps and vanity plates to tell each other apart. Like do they understand how much of a douchey faggot they look doing that? All poorfags trying way too hard to impress with a Model 3.

Back in 2017 I’d turn my head to see a Model S on the road, but now I don’t even bat an eye seeing a Cybertruck. It’s kind of ironic that a basic modern vehicle is more eye catching than any Tesla you see at a stop light intersection. Literal road NPCs

The Polestar 3 added another trend of shitty car controls, by including capactitive touch controls that are UNLABELED unless you hover over them:

It also has the same stupid ass "2 window controls with a toggle to switch between front and rear control" scheme too, on a car that can cost over $90k. Thanks a fucking lot Volkswagen:

Mercedes-Benz will be laying off 15% of their staff in China, due to massive competition from low-effort Chinese EVs that hard undercut them.

And Chinese cars still continue to the stupid "small instrument cluster screen + LARGE ASS FUCK infotainment screen that is one BIG FAILURE POINT" interior layout:
