I'd rather valve just make 1 map a year with a couple of cosmetics over these shitty played out bloated community maps, gamemodes and cosmetics its getting ridiculous the ammount of maps that are in the game right now, valve needs to trim the fat so to speak and start removing shitty maps.

Because of that I get the feeling that a big reason why a lot of worksloppers try to insert community gamemodes into official map rotation (aside from just wanting sweet Valve cash) is because they failed as community server runners and couldnt attract players to their gamemodes. But its a bit difficult to prove without digging deep behind the scenes

Meet your Match killed community servers, i thankfully was able to atleast make a server of my own that is relatively active but also just found relatively active community servers on tf2 sourcemods like pre fortress 2 after MyM happened. But you really can't compare tf2 before and after that update. Shit sucks.

The ones that have a community that sticks and knows eachother well are fully dead, the ones that have fun neat community maps are dead. I can think of some servers like Kogastopia but they are too wingcucked for me and filled with 4cuck /bant/ pedophiles.
