We only take card, we can't take cash because of covid and also our machines.
He tries paying with cash and I let him know it's card only.

Hated that place. Literally every single day there was at least 6 people with blue lives matter flag shirts and hats and merch like they're dressed for the damn cop cock sucking convention. I know this shit is common in retail/food service jobs but it was fucking constant in that carnival one. That and my stand got robbed and wrecked (idk why, we don't take cash, nothing to steal) and my boss rolled her eyes and had me clean it and fix the window while serving customers.
Kids would do drugs, some autistic kid puked on the side of my stand and my manager got mad when I called the cleanup people on the walkie talkie because she could hear it and was talking with friends so I was "embarassing" to hear me request cleanup for the stand. I'm sorry? What am i supposed to do, the customers were staring and whining because nobody wants vomit on or near their ice cream. Fuck that bitch and the job.
I could go on and on, this place was a shithole.
