Listening to the new Ascended Dead album on repeat today,good stuff.Sounds like a Necrovore/Angelcorpse mix.Not gonna link because i am retarded.

Doesn't sound like a metal band at all. sounds more like occult/hard rock. was kind of hoping judging by the album cover it would've been doom or smthng.

Also that new Carnifex album dropped today but I stopped listening to new deathcore releases like 8 years ago so I'll prob pass on it.

Prob one of those bands that aren't metal but still associated with the scene cuz some members played metal in other bands

On side note I realized this and this both got released today and both looks p promising. I'm familiar with TTFA but i can't really remember if i've listened to them before, however since it came out through Gorehouse it's prob fire though.

New FURIA album

60 min long, the first 32 mins are Primordial-esque riffs with Panzer Division Marduk drumming while the singer shouts the same few phrases over and over again before a fucking 28 min long ambient track with noises and a weird guy singing some folk song closes the album.


And a new M8L8TH album has also been released.

I always had a very passive, mild appreciation of metal until I heard this album. I absolutely love it, and I wanted to ask if anyone had recommendations for similar sounding stuff. My favorite tracks are probably Equanimity and Rod of Asclepius, if it helps. I also really like the last two tracks in the context of having listened to the whole album through, I think it's a really satisfying conclusion.

Totally not my cup of tea bc of how modern it sounds. The music itself sounds very thrashy (Thrash Metal) but the vocals give me some Swedish Melo Death Metal vibe. The intro track sounds like the Clockwork Orange soundtrack. The first band that came to my mind during the first real track was early In Flames stuff.


But the longer I listend to it I had to think off a-not-so-technical-Vektor.
