did you know that adoption is actually quite expensive when adopting from within the US? if you consider the economic situation many people are in, it would be impossible for many people to adopt, leaving these kids in the care of the foster system. which isn't that great. what's worse, these unwanted children will likely grow up with issues as a result of the instability in their lives. would it not be better to spare these children such a life by not having them in the first place?
