The Abortion Debate Containment Thread - Put abortion sperging here.

I'm going to regularly post this and other examples of abortions to remind anyone browsing how ridiculous equating having a heavy period is to murder

My man was telling me last night his boss, who I honestly dislike for various reasons, was very cut up over the whole leaks thing because she is a classic turbo liberal. Her reasoning never went past ‘my body my choice’, but I realized that if you truly believe that a fetus is not your body, that ceases to be the case. I cannot smother my 2 month old kid and say that it was my body my choice, and the line at which it becomes OK is not defined at all. You ask 20 people and get 20 answers.
But what about the ‘stay out of my personal business’ thing the boss also likes to say because of the evil men? Well, that also doesn’t matter if you believe abortion is murder because the right of a US citizen, or any human, to life is well above your right to pretty much anything. Again I don’t get to smother my child and just say it was my business, and agin the line of when an embryo becomes a separate life is very unclear.
Just some thoughts, I guess.
Well, your kid was actually BORN and is no longer inside your body. Nice try tho

Again, this is where the line is blurred. Some people, like you, believe a child is alive at birth. Others, a bit before birth when it’s viable. Others still when it has a heartbeat.
I’m not one to say what’s right, because even though I have my own thoughts on it, but I have no possible way of knowing what’s correct. But the thing is, neither do you.
If we were hardcore Christians, the we would have the answer in the Bible, but not everyone is.

Do you think there is a definitive point where life begins? Or is it merely up to each individual to place it wherever they want?

I don’t know, but I’d rather play it safe than commit murder even if the intentions aren’t to do so.
Weird we use date of birth and not the date the fetus gained a heartbeat
True, but then again I just don’t feel comfortable if there’s a chance I’m unknowingly killing something I shouldn’t. I understand your stance as well, but it’s a really difficult issue for a lot of people.

96% of abortion are in the first tremester. Your confusing it with late term abortion which is less than 1%. You pro life all go apeshit on the anedoctical rape/difformity argument but god damn you can't shut up on the rarer on late term abortion claiming all abortion are like that no exception

I'm guessing you can't read. I explained that an unborn child is alive, human, and innocent. Hence making it murder.

Now for the parasite argument. It is human nature to start from one cell and develop into maturity. As such, unless the development of the child is abnormal and will reach maturity, that unborn child is not a parasite.

The only reason one would even make the claim of parasite would be for some irrational emotional reason. Which is all I'm seeing here.

The conversation of what life 'is' and, more importantly, where the value of it comes from is very hard to have. Even if we were all willing to be honest and not shy away from admitting harsh beliefs, the english language simply isn't up to the task of accurately capturing those beliefs.

Abortion-havers' big brain gotchas all involve pretending they are so stupid they don't understand the most basic facts of life.

"Why do we celebrate your birthday on the day you were born instead of the day your heart started beating HUH?"

Maybe thousands of years of not having the technology to detect the heartbeats plus it being a real pain in the ass to nail down the exact day of these things due to variations in female cycles and couples having sex more than once- no certainly it must just be that creatures with a heartbeat that we didn't detect are simply not really alive. Right. Creatures in the deep sea right now- not living, because we have not documented their heartbeats yet. Also trees that fall in the forest with no one around don't make a sound. Just ask the un-dead owls in the neighborhood- they aren't properly alive either because we didn't hold a stethoscope up to each one personally.

You're one to talk about "shying away from admitting harsh beliefs." Lmao.
