A man can't force a woman to abort his child or stop her from doing so. And if the woman decides to have the child, the man is on the hook for child support and can't get out of that. So the man is held accountable if the woman has the baby, but has no say in whether or not she has the baby. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how lopsided that situation is.
