I don't get why you see it being any less ridiculous then her literally saying if she had a kid she'd slaughter it under the justification of "It's my mental illness lol it wouldn't be my fault"Because she's a mentally ill asexual lesbian
Why are you getting mad at me and not him for wanting her to still have kidsI don't get why you see it being any less rediciloust then her litereally saying if she had a kid she's slaughter it under the justificaiton of "It's my mental illness lol it wouldn't be my fault"
She is those things, but she could also not be those things. Listen, this is something I notice in arguments with pro-choicers that I find very peculiar. We're talking in the abstract. We're already in the realm of hypotheticals, theories, and things that aren't the way they are now. We're having a conversation in the realm of should, not is, right? So why are you willing to entertain some hypotheticals but not others? Why are some ifs okay, but some ifs not?Because she's a mentally ill asexual lesbian

If we're talking about what she should do, why is that should operating in a limited context? I find it odd that you have this "given that she's not doing what she should do, what should she do?" question. I would never think to ask such a question. I can't really understand it.
I don't. I would want her to stop being mentally ill and start having a healthy life.I want to know why you would want an infant around a mentally ill person that has potentially violent tendencies
idk i'm boredwhy haven't you fucked off yet?
I fear rape and live in a red state that passed an abortion ban (that thankfully has been prevented from going into effect). Shit has me spooked. Plus I have lots of straight/bi female friends.Android ... why do you care?
Like for real? From what you've posted I'm forced to conclude you're an asexual lesbian in her mid thirties that's probably never even been near a penis, let alone had one inside her.
You're not getting an abortion, like ever. You of all people seem to know that not having sex is an option. It just kinda seems like you like the idea of having an abortion? Honest question, not a dig.
Fair enough.I fear rape and live in a red state that passed an abortion ban (that thankfully has been prevented from going into effect). Shit has me spooked. Plus I have lots of straight/bi female friends.
Somebody must have had a fun childhood.mentally ill asexual lesbian
Because unfortunately you can't get misoprostol OTC in the US. Change that and you wouldn't even need a doctor involved for most abortions. There's a reason women in south Texas just drive over the border and buy pills there. Then, why does a doctor ever have to get involved outside a life-or-death situation?
Being responsible for me would be not having children. Unfortunately my parents weren't as responsible and I'm the result. Sammie Bushart, ForeverKailyn, lovelypeaches, EmpathicNutritionist, and the Schofield clusterfuck are also great threads to read for examples of people who chose to have kids despite being completely incapable of caring for them properly. Also, avoiding negative consequences is not being responsible, it's just not being irresponsible.
Being responsible has positive consequences. Being responsible would be creating a child and raising it properly.
Zero is not positive.
Why do you think I'm so loud and proud about how people shouldn't have kids if they can't care for them properly?Somebody just have had a fun childhood
Well, why do the manufacturers of that drug have to produce the drug?Because unfortunately you can't get misoprostol OTC in the US.
Exactly!have brain problems? stop having brain problems
feeling sad? stop feeling sad
don't have money? stop being poor
don't want to take care of a baby? have a baby
there solved all your problems NEXT
Who said anything about needing to lose weight? Maybe you were a fatty, but not all of us with heavy flows are. It's probably genetic, seeing as how my very petite and thin mom had the same problem.Dude, MY periods were like a vampire's banquet. It came out like jam it was so thick. But now I've naturally calmed it down by losing weight. You don't need a fucking pill. It's literally shrinking a virtual part of your brain. Instead of getting pissy, maybe listen to someone who has been through it themselves. If you want lighter periods, lose weight and get your thyroid checked and eat a balanced clean diet
To treat arthritis when you have stomach ulcers, to help manage miscarriages and childbirth (can literally be a lifesaver if a woman is bleeding heavily or her body isn't expelling dead fetal tissue), and, of course, to easily provide a safe and reliable abortion. It's great stuff.Well, why do the manufacturers of that drug have to produce the drug?
He's asking you why they need to produce it, not what the purpose of the drug is.To treat arthritis when you have stomach ulcers, to help manage miscarriages and childbirth (can literally be a lifesaver if a woman is bleeding heavily or her body isn't expelling dead fetal tissue), and, of course, to easily provide a safe and reliable abortion. So what are the not great aspects of it that you aren't mentioning? To treat arthritis when you have stomach ulcers, to help manage miscarriages and childbirth (can literally be a lifesaver if a woman is bleeding heavily or her body isn't expelling dead fetal tissue), and, of course, to easily provide a safe and reliable abortion. can you make at least a single post that isnt catty and sarcastic? So what are the not great aspects of it that you aren't mentioning?
You've brought this up before, and it was just as silly then. There are some really fucking sanctimonious people here. This is a fucking shitposting forum.

My point is that if the issue is actually "bodily autonomy", then it would be fine to go full throttle and remove every occasion for a third party to be involved in one's abortion. There'd be no need to talk about "abortion access" (by way of surgeons) or abortifacents. It would in fact be okay for states to make laws that prohibit abortion services within their borders...He's asking you why they need to produce it, not what the purpose of the drug is.
Dunno why though.![]()
You don't need a moral standard when you have The Science ™ on your side. You're arguing for a moral standard, yourself. Where do you come off complaining about sanctimony because others argue a moral standard that contradicts yours?
