So far the reasons presented in this thread have been:

1. It's not a human because I don't want it to be
2. It's not a human because it's not conscious
3. It's not a human because it's inside someone else
4. It's not a human because it can't feed itself
5. It's not a human because you're christian

None of these are remotely reasonable.

Conversely our logic is pretty simple and ironclad:

1. It's clearly a human
2. Killing innocent humans is murder
3. Murder is wrong

They are indeed reasonable. Just because you have crippling autism and thus can't understand someone else's point of view because your brain is severely diseased doesn't make it false.

You are wrong about it being human so thus, you are wrong. Checkmate.
 
was curious to click and see what this forums general view was regarding abortion but am waaay too lazy to actually read through more than half a page lol.

i guess you could be pragmatic and base part of your view on the types of people who get abortions if there are any trends regarding socioeconomic positions and if we could predict what the kids would end up doing i.e. will they be a drag on society and take welfare, but thats beyond callous and if you applied that type of thought to other areas we would live in a pretty messed up place lol. Plus you could consider any impact on the nuclear family, though idk if thats relevant to a country's success and economic status.

morally id imagine everyone is on the same page regarding murder being wrong, and the crux of the argument is when does life start and what constitutes life. Ive heard heartbeats used often as well as unique dna, but also ability to live and function independently, though if we take that to its logical conclusion i imagine one could bring into question other people who need external assistance of some sort to survive.

I came across something a long time ago that said sentience starts in the third trimester, and yet never hear this brought up. Why not go off of that and allow abortions up to the including the second trimester, but in other cases like forced pregnancy give special considerations, although Id be surprised if someone in such a situation waited until the third trimester if abortions were legal and available during the first two.

Lol nah, I don't think it's murder. I am firmly pro-choice. You just can't fathom that not everyone sees things you do. You can't help it, though. It's obvious you have severe autism by how you only see things in black and white and are firmly unable to understand others viewpoints.

I could if you could provide a single rational argument that I found compelling enough to make your view seem reasonable. You have failed to do so for 200 pages.

Murder as a legal definition is a matter of secular law. The laws in question currently say that abortion isn't murder, regardless of whether you think it should be or not. Anyone who wants to moralize about this topic can, if they like, but you would be better off saying that abortion should be considered murder, or saying that abortion is an immoral or unlawful killing, rather than trying to invoke the authority of the legal system when said system largely doesn't considered abortion to be unlawful killing.
