There’s an obscure sub genre of Decora kei called Hadeko that I really like. The word Hadeko is a portmanteau of hade (gaudy/tacky) and ko (child). It’s basically decora but with baggy, comfy clothes and big teased hair.

Guys who live like this are a massive red flag. They have zero interests other than videogames. It's not that they enjoy "MiNiMaLiSm", it's not that they're humble and happy with less, it's that they've succumbed to their lowest urges and have nothing to strive for. Women and gays, if you're interested in a guy and this is what his house looks like, RUN

Guess their favourite aesthetics is cyberpunk, because they already live in it. They are just waiting for a VR connector right to the head.

I love cottagecore when it looks real and honest (like the second picture, what a lovely house!), but I'm not into it when it looks like the set for a live action Disney movie (not saying this is the case of the first picture, but something about it seems off. Although I can't deny that the cakes look delicious).
That's just me though, I know there are many people who really like it camped up.

I’ve been watching a series for Christmas decor and I’ve been feeling very inspired.

Obviously she is very wealthy and also sponsored, but I’m actively trying to build my Christmas decorations this year and I’ve found her series very helpful. I love all things sparkly and I absolutely love her ceiling!

I’d be curious to know what others do for their Christmas decorating. What is your palette? Do you have a theme for your house as a whole or do you have zones? Do you do the same thing every year? How do you lay the table? Do you have more than one tree? I was tempted to make a thread on the subject but I’m not very good at making them.
