HGTV used to be good as reference for what you can do to improve your house, in a straight sense where a man's house is his castle which he wants nice to look at. I think they gave in to SJWs when they canceled an upcoming show hosted by two anti-gay brothers a couple years ago.
Presently, it and comparable shows on other channels are about gays and hipsters who get bigger hard-ons from boring minimalist houses that look like the fucking Apple Store, than they seem to do from their partners. With the core demographic traditionally being women, I can see how HGTV, etc. may influence in spreading gay cheer and unorthodoxy where the Martha Stewarts and Paula Deens (it's cooking, but the same concept) of the world used to.

If you don't think a gay reality show on an irrelevant channel cant have a huge impact on culture you weren't around when Queer Eye turned every other urban guy in his 20s into a metrosexual in the early aughts

^Also, most Fag Five members got their own spin-off shows, or were recurring guests in seemingly straight shows (for example, Top Chef). Bravo used the show are a basis to create more shows like MTV used The Surreal Life to create Celebreality.

Because there are conservative Jews and non-white people in their ranks. Also, because there's too much of a focus on Christianity. Someone brought up that they like Trump because he doesn't talk about Christianity that much.

Short answer: Normal conservatives are cucks because most support Israel.
Long answer: Alt-Righters mostly align with paleoconservatives, who who at eternal war with neoconservatives under the contention they're closet liberals. Also, many feel stabbed in the back by the Tea Party for supporting niggo Herman Cain in the 2012 primaries and dying out after RINO Mitt Romney won the nomination, later losing the election and today attacking Trump on a routine basis. Furthermore, they consider social issues conservatives campaign on as single-issue traps the left uses to demonize opponents and sway away from more relevant issues.

SPLC is a reputable organization when it comes to identifying idiotic speech vs hate speech, so I was kinda surprised to see that too.
I'm not really surprised that the alt-right is such a patchwork, "the enemy of my enemy..." after all.
