That's because the Prison-Industrial complex more or less actually exists, if not to the same extent as they say, while the alt-right favors shadowy conspiracy groups because they need a conspiracy theory to explain why their failure of an ideology is only growing more unpopular

Frankly so is the term "Right-Wing". It's almost like a culture of applying the left/right economic spectrum to ideologies has diluted the terms or something. Fascism (another term with practically no definition) opposed the original leftist academia in the early 20th century so they were characterised as opposites. Add a few decades of people being called "right-wing" for simply opposing the left and you have what we have today.

He has been posting his unimportant opinions on his blog since March 2008. I haven't bothered to read past the most recent months of 2016 and late 2015 and his first few posts in 2008, but he never comes out and says "I am part of the alt-right" however he probably is since he holds many alt right tendencies including but not limited to: Hating non-whites especially blacks, Jews, and Muslims, saying the Chrsitian right and other forms of right are "too left", believes in white "genocide", and finally idolizing Trump.

What is interesting about Jim is that early in 2008 he called the Kikuyu people that have wealth, ambition, foresight, and patience compared to the other ethnicities around them. That is probably the nicest thing he has ever said about a black group, since his more recent posts have been "we should shoot every black person that comes into our neighborhoods."
The people that comment on his blog are also exceptional. Some advocate genocide against blacks and Muslims, some quote literature from the 1800s as to why they are right, and they always argue about whether or not blacks are human beings. Infact one commenter went as far as to say "Humanity is a social construct" because he was mad that black people were Homo Sapiens the same as whites.
