Plagued The Alt-Right

This is one thing that the fringe right and the fringe left have in common. You'd think they'd get along a bit more than they actually do.

Nazbols and Ba'athists are basically that in reality.

Isn't that just... how regular people behave? If you go to a venue with your girlfriend or wife, and they want to leave, then you leave with them. Have these people ever had a friend or relationship in their lives? I can't comprehend how dysfunctional you'd have to be for this to shock you. Like, this is probably indicative of actual autism on the commenter's part.

Alt-shites are autistic nerds rebelling against their socialization.

A lot of them seem to be, which is the main reason their movement never really broke into the mainstream. Women are 50% of the white population so they lose half their possible support at once.

So it's all a reaction to teaching and social work having a preponderence of woke scolds in their ranks? So Jimmy the sperg spends much of his childhood either bossed around by teachers or tard wranglers, all of the "If you've nothing nice to say, say nothing at all" persuasion, so when it's teenage rebellion time he turns into a /pol/ tard?

Edit: Holy shit, did the Alt-right disappear in September? this has been the first post in 2 months.

Its more like the "prominent" figures or communities within it have their own lolcow threads. So this thread doesnt get much attention.
To be fair though, there never was an "Alt-Right" except in the minds of glowniggers and the press (Richard Spencer is in this group; you get to pick which of the two). The entire idea of making it a "big tent" was just so liberals could throw everyone they didn't like into it, it didn't actually have to do with cooperation on the right-wing.

The 'alt-right' is basically a catch all term for what you might as well call 'the younger far right'.Ie persons who are strongly right but are usually aged below 50. You can include or exclude whoever you want but most alt-right types eskew younger. Its pretty obvious that mainstream conservative movements are trying to find ways to integrate these groups into their ranks and hopefully the votes of their supporters.Lets face it most politicians don't care who votes for them as long as they vote. Then again mainstream liberals are doing the same with far left groups so nothing new here. My belief is that the far right will resurge strongly in the 2020's. They botched their attempt to capitalise on Covid in the spring primarily because they didn't expect this specific crisis(no one did). But come autumn and going into 2021 and beyond the lingering disillusion and trauma left from Covid will provide fertile ground for them. 9/11 laid the groundwork for most extremist movements in the West. While their specific motivations vary and their roots are pre-9/11 the lingering fear and paranoia created by 9/11 led directly to a reformist zeal among youth. To assume Covid won't create the same kind of reformist zeal which will morph into militancy and even violence is to assume way too much from people. So while the movements themselves might not tie directly to now their breeding ground will be the long term anger resulting from the system being unable to prevent the current crisis. An entire generation of schoolkids have seen classes suspended and are wondering about their future with adults being unable to provide a clear answer. Any extremist with an IQ above 100 knows that its a perfect recipe for recruitment. The far right is well positioned to reap those benefits even if they screwed up the initial response. If anything Trump losing means they can now find someone 'younger' and potentially more effective.

Is there anyone internet famous who publicly embraces the term who isn't a plant or a grifter?

The largest "alt-right" communities (using the term as an umbrella for modern rightist nationalists) are more apolitical, or more precisely not politically focused. These would include subcultures like bikers, which have had an enormous resurgence especially among younger white men. Another example would be MMA and fighting sports, as well as "redneck" cultural activities (fishing, hunting, mudding, and powersports) and more generally rural and semi-urban blue collar workers. These are all group activities or commonalities that allow white men to form fairly insular communities without coming out and saying "whites only" or anything else that has become culturally taboo. The large resurgence of "redneck" identifying men, even around cities and in the densely populated northeast, is due to that term being synonymous with "white".

Obviously there is political variation within these groups, but generally speaking many people in these subcultures are 90% aligned with common "alt-right" talking points. This is in part why a populist nationalist message like Trump's was so successful, because there is a huge base for those ideas once you ditch all the anti-jew and ethnostate rhetoric (which aren't entirely uncommon ideas among those groups mentioned, however they fall outside of the general overton window).

Yeah, pretty much. Like half of Bronze Age Mindset is just the guy ranting about "matriarchs" and "schoolmarms" and how modernity is so evil and stifling to young men. It's the same epiphany a Randroid has: "Wait, I don't really have to care about the needs of others?" It's a return to the Terrible Twos.

Unfortunate thing about all this is that it kinda validates SJWs who, as a defence, would claim that they are criticised only because Alt-Right hates women. We know that this wasn't really the case, but they can now point to various autists rambling about matriarchs and regular person would be convinced that thats the case.

Back before 2015 or so, male feminist lolcow Futrelle used to basically stick to making fun of manosphere lolcows, but since he noticed Trump and the "alt-right", he's been just all autistic political screeching. Of course, given the amount of crossover between manosphere lolcows and the "alt-right", it's probably not surprising. There's a fat term paper in there for some sociology major.

The grift trail for the e-celebs seems to have gone from PUA or MRA to Gamergate to alt-right. Look how many times people like Thernovich or Teddy Spaghetti have reinvented themselves to keep up with the hot grift of the day.

EDIT: The obvious question is "Where do they go next? Is this yesterday's news?"

Even if you're just following the money, I think it's a bit of a mixed bag. Here is some cash estimates:
Vaush (Far left) claims he's making 400-500k annually
Destiny (Center left) claims he was making 100-200k annually with 500k in assets.
Tim Pool (Left-leaning Centrist) I don't know Tim's exact numbers but since his live streams pull 30 to 160k viewers I'm guessing 200k is a safe bet.
Sargon (Right-leaning Centrist) According to Sargon's subscribestar from a few months ago he was making 150k annually and that's after I subtracted the 25k or so for a family of his size's expenses.
Meanwhile on the Dissident Right, Nick Fuentes is easily making 84k annually just from dlive (so not counting his merch or streamlabs) and I don't know how much Stefan Molyneux is pulling but I saw a bitcoin tracker that claimed he had a little over a million in bitcoin.

Chasing the altright buck is risky though cause you could end up like the Proud boys chairman or Mark Collett and Laura Towler getting your bank account closed for wrong think.

It's also difficult to produce content ITT when the vast majority of them have been banned from mainstream social media sites like Twitter or Facebook. There's this Twitter account who catalogues right-wing cringe. Of course, it's difficult to take it seriously when, upon knowing who runs the account, nothing short of unmitigated butthurt flows through every post.

In any case, the alt-right imploded after the fallout from Charlottesville and disillusionment from Trump's failure to deliver on critical campaign promises, and with the schism between the alt-right, alt-lite and amnats, this thread is more or less redundant and perhaps a bit dated.

What really happened at Charlottesville? Was it really ANTIFA scoring a major win and the death of Heather Heyer was just the cherry on top.

If you're seriously trying to claim that MMA and boxing are "alt right" that's absolutely laughable. A lot of those fighters aren't even white, let alone a bunch of Nazis. I don't see any connection between that and retards like Spencer and Fuentes.

The fact Joe Rogan had Bernie Sanders on his show suggests enough.

"The alt right is basically "we wuz kangz" but for whites."
A group of American loser urbanites of almost invariably lefty extraction who realised one day they didn't like trannies enough to continue with their unrequited love for Antifa, so they decided they were going to blame Jews for their own failures. Hilarity ensued.
