The Amazing Digital Circus - Western Isekai that probably will become Hazbin Hotel killer

I watched a lot of Homestar Runner when I was younger and this reminded me a lot of it. HR was so ahead of its time it's insane.
All that being said: I liked it. I found it entertaining. Though I like absurdism and B horror so it was right up my alley. If that's not your thing you probably wouldn't enjoy it.

Based. Me too. I'll remember the mid-to-late-2000s being a religious fan of H*R. Strong Bad Email will still be the greatest thing to come out on H*R

Actually having watched the show now I can safely say it IS mediocre. The jokes and plot are an amalgamation of Tumblr/Xitter thread memes. The animation is very good. The soundtrack is very generic and uninspired. The tonal whiplash from the forced quirky random access humor really ruins any charm. We have VR; Kane alternates between Gravity Fall's Bill Cipher and psychosis sufferer and of course we have the discount backrooms (the Void). I feel like the abstracted could have had more of a plot relevance. I say this as they otherwise seem like an arbitrary death mechanism to reference Madoka Magica like any of the other underplayed / overplayed skits. LOOK RAGATHA'S GRIEF SEED GOT DAMAGED. DID YOU HECKING SEE THAT?
Overall 5/10 and mostly saved by very good 3D animation.

The animation looks very good but otherwise it was fairly mediocre. I did actually like the asshole rabbit character though. Learning that the creator is a tranny does put me off from watching it ever again.

It's like I stepped back into 2011, I got dudes on one end yelling "(x) WILL GET PREGNANT" as some kind of insane jihad chant and the other side is getting assmad about a cartoon to the point of trying to somehow compare it to Nostalgia Critic's The Wall. Feels good tbh.

There's concept art where Zooble is explicitly shown as being neither male nor female, so I think the character is supposed to be non-binary.

I assumed from watching the pilot Zooble was supposed to be an "alternative girl". This is pretty much Zooble's character in a nutshell:

That said, I suppose being non-binary/genderfluid/whatever is just the current year equivalent of being alternative, so it checks out.

When I read that Zooble's gender was unknown, my thought was "oh Zooble is name of the mask ribbon one, good know". I genuinely had forgotten most of the names but Zooble was clearly so clearly feminine design, female voice actor and basic angsty teengirl mannerism that her being the gender bend one just didn't register as a possibility.
