I will say that this is one thing Nippon has over everyone else, they can properly handle serious topics with serious animation,

In recent light of the Pomni bathing suit reveal, there's been amusing discourse on X about if she qualifies as a loli, seeming to mainly stem from this post. Short, no ass, no boobs, big wide expressive eyes, totally checks all the boxes. Pomni lovers are arguing about her age, literally bringing in the "Actually, she's a 1000 year-old dragon!" argument. It's just amusing and shows the double standards harshly.

Dead discussion but I wanted to contribute. I disagree that she "checks all the boxes". She looks like a cartoon Looney Tunes type character, not a child. Saying she "checks all the boxes" is like saying Mickey Mouse checks all the boxes

I don't think it was either. All I was saying was that people are really obsessed with labeling any short woman without huge bazoongas as a loli, and Pomni checks all the boxes and now suddenly it totally doesn't count for...no real reason, really.

I would agree with you on this though even if she did "check the boxes", cause nowadays what counts as a loli is rather arbitrary when it comes to public opinion. Which is dumb, cause it's probably the easiest thing to tell. If it looks like a child then that's that, lol.

For my humble opinion I always felt gangle more 'loli coded'' with her child like behavior than Pomni who just small with a big head.

I noticed that Ashley’s statement ended on Michael’s issues, whereas Michael’s ended on both of theirs. That reeks of “he needs a little, uh, mental help there” DARVO on Ashley’s part. Who would’ve thought that rearranging your relationship to accommodate cheating has consequences? Even if they’re both going to therapy, anyone could see this coming from a mile away.
