The Amazing Digital Circus - Western Isekai that probably will become Hazbin Hotel killer

Interesting point the video brings up that I haven't thought of before. Digital Circus becoming a "Movie" means it would be eligible to discuss and appear in applications like Letterboxd and discussions that normally purely focus on movies instead of series', thus increasing its exposure even more

Why crash out publicly?
The crashouts make the amazing in the circus ditital amazing the amazing digital circus, of course!

I'm not clicking this content farm clickfodder channel sorry.

What are your thoughts on this?

Also, a funny meme I found on Twitter yesterday.

He loves the attention; that's all there is to it.

I don't need to write an essay. People want to compare him to Vivziepop. He is actually a trans version of Jhonen Vasquez (Invader Zim guy). "Edgy", but in a safe, childish way.

Would be naive to think all the success of TADC didn't go to his head. If it was that stressful, he could just not interact with anyone online, like every major cartoon creator does. But that would mean missing the spotlight, and he can't have that.

Like others have said, if he wants genuine criticism and also praise if deserved, he just needs to browse this thread. You can't have your cake and eat it. If you are a popular creator expect some friction online, otherwise just don't do it. It's that simple.

Interesting how calling a character autistic is now too offensive so they gotta say "neurodivergent coded" lmao.

There is this popular trend in progressive spaces to see a [broken AI/Robot doesn't understand humans and has a violent breakdown] and say it's meant to be autism and it really makes ya think. I wonder how autists feel when people think they're soulless machines who are prone to sudden irrational violent outbursts.

Almost as thinkful as the real trend of watching a character be toxic male, mentally ill and suicidal and giving him trans headcanons... Which is curiously the case with Jax (there were always headcanons but his got much more popular after episode 6 and some people only call him "daisy" now).

Also please note that this kind of edgy is not the same thing as "safe edgy" which the vivziepop shit is. Important distinction to make between the "dark humor+ funny violence and clever little gags" vs. "FUCK FUCK SEX FUCK SHIT FUCK DID YOU KNOW THIS CHARACTER IS GAY GUYS?" kind of safe edge.

I can kind of get why people would have that thought about caine as a character because he is shown as emotional but not really on the same kind of social awareness wavelength as the other characters due to him not being human but yeah this identity politics shit is god fucking awful.

I can certainly give credit where credit is due, even if the show itself is something I do not like. However, if you are going to just absolutely sperg out constantly at the criticism levied, it shows you are incapable of really leading anything. A good leader should at least consider the weight of said criticisms not go on some neurotic tirade. Of course, a transsexual is going to assume any criticism is a personal attack as they themselves tie their being down with labels and personality archetypes to where they cannot separate themselves at all from something they make, even if the criticism itself is not really on what they do but something else entirely unrelated to them (in regards to the show, like lets say the vfx is bad, that is on the vfx guys not cooper but meltdown happens anyways).

Call me crazy, but the whole "people stop worshipping me!/stop sucking my dick!" is some insanely low level reverse psychology where all he wants is to be publicly coddled and praised. The money he is making would make him less "relatable" (see LTT for example) so he has to pivot hard to the other end where it comes off as insecure and unable to really handle anything other than mindless praise.

I kinda wonder how much discussion about this fucking thing has just shifted to be this kind of commentary deepthink about the shitposts

Once the show ends, I am PRAYING for a 41 percent ending

As an autist, I can actually understand it. For starters, Adam Lanza was a sped

No no. You know damn well he's not actually going to pay attention to any of the criticisms this thread makes about Digital Circus, and he'll just start crying about bullying and harassment again. Simply because we never call him a woman

I hate that shit, as an autism sufferer. I remember when they got rid of the Aspergers thing, too.
They got rid of it because the name was fucking stupid. Muh "it's not an accurate description", fuck outta here nobody wants to be known as that kid with ass burgers, lmaooooo :lit:

It's a part of the greater conversation about whether or not queer-coded or autism-coded characters do more harm than good for representation.

On one hand, it's a way to get past censors back in the day when conversations about these topics were taboo. We can't establish a woman to be a lesbian, so let's just have her compliment other women a lot. We can't have a character be established as trans, so let's have that character say vague statements about how they weren't proud of who they were in the past, and how much happier they are now.

On the other hand, it also creates this idea within people's mind that queer people and autists have a specific way of thinking and acting, and that if someone just so happens to meet this criteria, they are decidedly queer or autistic. Even within the LGBTQA+ community themselves, they start adopting this mindset for themselves and pass it onto others. If you're a boy, and you look at other boys with admiration, you must be gay. Maybe you just admire them? Maybe you want to try to be like them? Nope. Other people who've had similar experiences say it's because you're gay, so you MUST be gay.

Did Goose intend to write Caine to be autistic? Or did his behavior just so happen to check all the boxes people have for defining an autist?
Did Goose intend to write Jax as trans? Or did his behavior just so happen to check all the boxes people have for defining a trans person?

In the case of Jax, let's say Goose did intend for him to be trans. It says a lot about him that despite proudly claiming to be a trans woman, he wrote his trans character based on a checklist of stereotypical transgender tropes

My local theater sits right next to a dying mall that's turned into 90% weeb crap as a hail mary to save itself. The place attracts a decently sized horde of freaks, including people wearing fucking fursuits in public. The theater has an assload of showings for this booked, and I'm honestly tempted to just drive over, sit in the parking lot, and people watch the subhumans going in and out of the place.
