Just suffered through Eric’s latest vlog. Is it normal for the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese to be done as you’re putting the turkey in the oven? They said it was 1pm and dinner didn’t start until 5. Do people actually eat cold mashed potatoes? :O

These people are obsessed with eating but have no concept of good food. They don't give a shit about the consistency of potatoes, especially because they are just a vehicle for gravy.

Rickie was saying something about his whole family being... ahem, larger individuals... perhaps he is used to all the shit AL is pulling and that’s why he hasn’t snapped? I know people are rooting for Rickie to snap/grow a spine but I don’t see it happening. He’s a mild mannered, simple southern belle after all. As long as you don’t use a fork in the butter-marjoram he’s happy.

He probably keeps busy at home so that he doesn’t have to engage with AL. I bet doing any household work is better than having to keep al company for any amount of time.

I agree that people give Rickie way too much credit. I mean comparatively he looks like a gem and Mensa member next to the three stooges, but he really is one of them too. He is just the best of the worst which doesn’t say much for him at all.

So I just had the most terrible, awful, thought. Ricky mentioned something about 'when they have kids in the future' in one of Eric's recent vlogs. Does this mean that Becky has been earmarked as a future egg donor / surrogate? Can we just stop and imagine the progeny of Eric + Becky for a moment? What if a pact has been made between all parties to provide the 'mixings'? So many questions.....

I suppose at least Amber won't be impregnated - she's unlikely to even live long enough to procreate, and even if she could, there is no way she would allow an infant to compete with her for food.

I'd like to think Rickie means adopting. He's likely seen what foster care does to kids given where he lives, I can only hope he wants to save a kid from that shit.

Becky wouldn't be very viable as a surrogate, and I can't see Rickie actively deciding to try and have a surrogate mother with mental retardation and poor health as an option.

Becky said she has PCOS so it might be hard for her to get pregnant (not impossible though). I'm not sure they'd want to risk passing that thumb look down to kids and more generations. Even though Becky's mom and sister look normal...why risk it. I'm not sure they could adopt with Eric not working and his "disabling anxiety". Maybe they know other people to be a surrogate?
