I can't find anything recent about this girl, she just seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth. There is a women's soccer player of similar age who kind of looks like her, though. If the soccer player is her, she kept off the weight and is now pretty thin.

Wow, that's an infuriating story. The mother seems so bumbling and clueless, even after somebody else had to step in to try and fix the mess she made of her child's life. She smiles and laughs when she says she feels a bit guilty about it!

Just disgusting. I'm glad that that poor little girl was able to get help and learn how to feed herself on her own, independent of her mom. Even after she lost all that weight, she's still at an age that a lot of kids would have their meals made for them by their parents.
Not only can she not trust her mom to feed her appropriately like the other kids, but now she's got a raging food addiction to deal with for the rest of her life that her mom cultivated in her.

If she really did turn out to be a soccer player then good for her! It's hard to imagine turning out okay when you can't depend on your parents for even the basics of raising you.

I've brought this up before. He has to be mixed with something. I'd be surprised if he and his sister came from the same father because I really don't see any family resemblance even aside from the obvious characteristics like skin and hair. Who knows, that poor woman seems so uncomfortable everytime we've seen her that maybe we just haven't gotten a good look?
