There's several female users who garner an inordinate amount of attention. It's weird, because they're not really well-liked, but they like to argue. You'd expect that people would identify these posters as just being shit-stirrers and ignore them like they do other users who mostly just post bait, but, because they're women, people choose not to ignore them. Even though they're talking to someone they don't like, they enjoy female attention, even if it's negative attention and even if it's from someone they don't respect at all.

Ideally people would just ignore Android Raptor. She's a simpleton with a one-dimensional personality that is just her obsession with a handful of controversial topics, but she has a vagina, so there's a group of people who will engage her on those same topics in literally every thread all the time. It's hard to just ban her because she's not really doing anything wrong, but it's also hard to punish users for responding because she's the one putting out the bait.

Also, you're bringing up Android Raptor, but there's a handful of similar dysfunctional women with their own group of simps and anti-simps who follow each other around and cause problems across the site while adding very little. It's a really recent phenomena and I don't know why it's only happened in the last year or so.

I think a lot of people's brains (such as yours) basically locked up and stopped processing new information sometime around 2016 or so due to being unable to cope with what has been going on.

The options are kiwifarms, shitscord, or being relevance sorted in a global feed against billions of others (none of these sites deserve to even be named). Oh, and the relevance sorting and moderation policy is designed by people who hate me and want me to be oppressed by social outcasts who in the past would have rightfully been heaped and burned as faggots.

Its just a site for laughing at lolcows, but mr moon here didn't get 250k for his legal fund (basically in exchange for nothing) solely because laughing at lolcows is funne. I frankly kindof regret not giving more to it prior to it closing.

I am very appreciative of Null and what he's done (at great personal cost) just so I can laugh at lolcows and say "nigger, faggot, and troons are not real women".
However, I am not going to sulk or doompost about the sites possible closure.
I am here for the lulz, however long they may be. I acknowledge and accept that this isn't going to be forever because that's just the reality.

What I dislike immensely is the increasing animosity I've witnessed over the last 3 months towards Null over a rather baseless accusation of favouritism towards female users.
The thing that made me extremely MATI within the last week was multiple users across the site complaining that, because they gave Null money and/or because he has a reliance on his fans to keep the site up, he was therefore essentially beholden to them and should do what they say.

That kind of entitlement, the resentment, and the conspiracy theories are not good for the site or the community. They are actually really harmful.

For example, imagine if they started saying "Oh Null is giving money to all his e-girlfriends in the BP so they show him their boobs". A certain part of the userbase gets riled up and then doesn't donate BTC or during superchats and it impacts the site.

Initially, I did try and make jokes and get people to lighten up by saying "Hey, don't worry about this. The Internet isn't serious business".
When that didn't work and I started getting attacked instead, I went "fuck this I'm going to laugh at you for being a cunt and I'm going to embarrass the fuck out of you for being such a crybaby about it".

I feel like I avoided this by virtue of not engaging in the chat or the Telegram.
I also lost access control to my old account in Sept 2022 when lolcow email went down so was forced back into lurking until I gave up and made this one.
Even though most of the site is accessible to the public, it does make a difference having an actual account. I definitely feel like I missed out on a lot in those 12 months.

Re: Discord drama - I really only know about the Catler thing and that there has always been problems with communicating off site because people get dumb/too familiar with eachother.
Was there a specific crazy thing that went down? Is there a summary thread or nah?
