On the plus side, If you’re wearing a full suit, you won’t have to worry about people rubbing their grubby cum-encrusted mitts over your exposed skin.I now have a genuine fascination with going to one of these retarded cons just for the experience, but I'm a germophobe and the sheer amount of grime going on is just straight uncomfortable. I had to wear one of those stupid character suits at one of my summer volunteer positions and I was dripping with sweat in less than 10 minutes, I couldn't imagine the third day of a retard collective. How much does it cost to clean one of these? Or is it more of a "burn when finished" sort of thing.
I recall that some fursuit heads are washer-safe, but most people prefer to either send it back to the maker, or scrub out all the grime and strange unidentified substances by hand. And for the sweat, most have to wear a form of protective underlayer that stops you from spontaneously combusting in even a moderate climate. Also some extra strong deodorant and antiperspirant works, but some just don’t use it.
