I was on the prowl for content when I came across a wonderful blue bird post that just
attracts awful fursuiters like flies to honey.
I present for everyone's viewing
pleasure horror;
Fursuits & Body Euphoria
Initially going to be a post to the tranny sideshows thread for the terms "body euphoria" & "body positivity", let's discuss why anyone would be compelled to reply to this post with their eyesore of a fursuit.
The Post Itself
Now that I have your expectations raised, let's take a look at the source material we have before us:

You read it right folks, fursuits giving
body euphoria
Now I was under the impression "body euphoria" was a troon word that autogynophiles & autophallophiles used to describe arousal at poorly passing, but this warrants another look.
Let's see what Plume, the troon-out assistant app, a totally unbiased source tells us what "body euphoria" is:
I can't find a non-troon version of Body Euphoria, but to sum it up nicely, it is commonly defined as, "feeling in the 'right' body."
So from the initial post that kicked this all off - I'm being told that people feel in the "right body" in their fursuits? That just sounds like being otherkin/therian with wasting money on a fursuit.
So now with a fresh understanding of what we are getting into, let's take gander at some of the replies to this rather ambiguous tweet.

For anyone who gets lulz out of people who integrate religion into their furry identities, do I have a treat for you.

If Black Tar Heroin had a fursona, this would be close to it.
Now Young, Antonio talks about how being in the fursuit equivalent of every other grunge metalhead gives him a boost in confidence while in "beast form" sounds otherkin-y, he doesn't quite meet the criteria of "body euphoria". At the very least he provides us with a rather... unique fursuit to gawk at, as every other picture of it looks a bit derpy.
And the whole religion thing? Yhea, the edgy-but-still-religious type is evident in his pinned tweet:

Even though the name of this post is the owner of the decent-looking D&D fursuit, I wanted to bring attention to the unmarked suiter to his left:

What I
really wanted to do was make this comparison:

The hair, eyebrows and eyes
, not to mention the gunt in the full image remind me of
him.
And as a kiwi of my word, let's breakdown Shade's post; the point of intrest being "not looked at like an adult whos the size of a kid."
Looking at the full image, he looks to be of standard height and weight (though the cloak makes it hard to tell) so he doesn't quite hit the requirement of "body euphoria" and more uses fursuiting to hide his proportions that bring him insecurity, not that he "feels like he is in the right body."

Not much to say about this reply other than the obviously DIY fursuit:

All there is to say about this fursuit is the head - I'm sure without the fursuit & some makeup she would look hundreds of times better than that papier-mâché fursuit head presents.

Getting back on track, let's take a look at a more fetishized use of the term "body euphoria";
S /
A
"I love... being a very round bunny." With this wording replaying to a "body euphoria" tweet we can see this is used in a fetishized sense, but I'm sure that was obvious to you all at first glance. Point being, that this helps us define body euphoria as a purely fetishistic term, not limited to AGPs & APPs.
Now to critique the fursuit, the crux of this thread; what first gets my attention are the feet
wow WHAT ARE THOSE?! But in all seriousness, those feet are far too oversized and look absolutely hideous when matched with the fursuit, why this is I find it hard to determine, even with the verbiage of "Stompy Fullsuit". moving on the face doesn't look like a rabbit to me and reminds me of a small dog in anime style.
Claire Sable
A rather interesting specimen, as all NBs are. This one has a fursuit that I first thought had a hijab before realizing it's the hair style.

Can you guess what she looks like IRL?
To breakdown the tweet, "...I just love being able to be a bear." is pretty obviously said in the "quirky white woman" way which is both in jest and for attention, so she fails out of providing any definition of body euphoria.
The style of the partial fursuit reminds me of that owned by
Casey Cronin, I don't think much more needs to be said there.
With the best (imo) saved for last in terms of what I can fill in from very few posts and my expertise in troonology, I present:

Their reply starts off innocent and simple enough;

Now there isn't much to pick apart here in the text, other than yes, this individual is unusually small.
But I noticed what was going on well before I read the text - do you see it too?
So I did some looking around on their profile:
An awful lot of mentioning masculine terms...
And just as easy as it is to spot a pig in the pool, my suspicions were confirmed:
Now why does this all matter? What does this have to do with body euphoria?
Well, after easily confirming this is an FtM, it is painfully obvious both through the fursuit, verbiage and body type that this is a woman. To critique both the post and fursuit - both are a poor attempt to hide the obvious femininity and reach the non-existent body euphoria via feigned masculinity. The fursuit itself isn't bad, in fact it's probably one of the best ones on this post. What makes it poor is the fact that it is supposed to present masculinity, to give the wearer body euphoria via being recognized as a male. The small stature (which I can't really blame anyone for as that's out of everyone's control) along with the "quirky" glasses, form-fitting to a feminine body shape, this clearly is a failed attempt to present as something that she will never realistically present as or be.
Closing
To wrap this up with a bow, I think it's pretty safe to say "Body Euphoria", in the sense of being able to have it while in fursuit is just as fake as any euphoria troons feel related to their
mental illness fetish. Realistically, the only people I'd wager that would feel "body euphoria" while in a fursuit would be the deranged otherkin/therian, with all others who use the term in fursuit just getting off to the fact that they can dress up in a fantasy that will never be.
I hope this post has bought you some entertainment and food for thought, and as always I am happy to discuss what your thoughts are on this phenomenon and/or poor craftmanship.
