The Beer Thread

Speaking of fucking water, BOGO was Becks or Becks Light
Not a bad Light at Miller Lite price.

I miss Aldi Generic Lite.

I've had a Lidl beer suggested to me at one point, Corsendonk I think it was? Anyone have any thoughts on that?

My holy grail beer is Russian River Pliny the Elder. I spent a whole Saturday driving to every BevMo and liquor store in Napa County trying to find any once.

Seems funny that I trashed pale ales on this very page as I was out and about around the Northern Quarter on Friday and I had a brilliant one at Soup Kitchen, ShinDigger Shake, and it was a vanilla pale ale. It went down too well!

I just remembered that Reeb is actually a thing.

Yeah, Warsteiner's alright, wouldn't drink it if there were other choices though.

Tastes like most common German Pilsener, I'm on my 4th now so It'll do the job.
The Brooklyn IPA was amazing, pity it's so expensive over here.

I may need to pick up a can in the morning to try it out.

Sorry for the double post, but I picked up both Brooklyn IPA's (didn't know which one @January Cyst was referring to) and the American Ale as they were 3 for £5.25 at Tesco.

Scorcher IPA was unremarkable, a bit too hoppy for my liking
East IPA was really good. Reminded me of a beer I loved but can't get anymore, Bombardier Reserve: The Colonel's Choice.
American Ale was pretty good too, more malty which is how I like my beers.

That's the one
If you ever have the chance, try "Dog In The Fog", an English brown ale brewed in Poland (I've had it whilst on holiday there and I liked it a lot).
It is pretty hard to get outside of Poland, I've only ever found it in Eastern European/Russian style shops (if you have some cheeki breeki areas near you).

I'm sure there will be a Can't Into Space shop somewhere around here. I'll have to have a Google.
