The Beer Thread

Trying the Hobgoblin IPA, it's not bad, though the lemon-y flavour is a bit overpowering.

I've grown to like IPAs, they're kinda nice.
For some reason I have never tried Hobgoblin even though I see it every at the shops right next to the Iron Maiden cans ("The Trooper Ale").

It's a fairly easy going one Hobgoblin, I tend to suggest it to those who are just starting off in the world of proper beer.

I might try it when I'm back in Briton, Hobgoblin is pretty rare on the continent it seems.
I picked up some "Turmbraeu Winterbier" whilst I was in Germany a few days ago and it is pretty amazing. (It's apparently store-brand beer, 35 ct for a 500ml can).
Dark lager, kinda like Koestritzer.
Pretty amazing what you can pick up for sub white lightning level prices..

I couldn't find a dedicated thread to the warm hug of alcohols, so I made one.
My favourite beer is Asahi. I generally prefer Asian beer, though i'm not picky as long as it ain't Coors. Or Fosters.
What's your favourite? Please argue about craft beers and real ales too, it feeds my autism.

I'd do terribly things for a lifelone supply of Asahi Super Dry.

Got myself some Humdingers from a Holt Pub last week. Lovely honey beer.
