I should have specifically excluded IPAs from my shitpost. Not that I specifically dislike IPAs, just the kind of IPAs drunk by the very beta males who also gargle dicks, wear skinny jeans, and ride fixed gear bicycles.

Dont forget the price... they charge 3€ or more per bottle, thats twice the price of local real craft beer.

Good question because I don't even know. I don't mind wheat bread but wheat pasta and wheat beer is a no go for me. So unfortunately that eliminates Hefeweizens which are good and they typically have the flavors I'm looking for in a beer. I just would rather drink something else which is not hard to find.

My last batch of prison hooch failed so I'm drinking "James Ready 6.0". Never heard of it before I saw it in the store and it was marginally cheaper than Cold Dry or whatever the Moosehead 6% is. Interestingly, this is produced by Moosehead anyway, according to the can, and is much better than the black can moosehead stuff.
 
Dessert beer tonight because fuck it I don't have any other good dessert stuff on hand

From left to right we have rich and hoppy cuck beer, generic American beer A in retro bottle and piss water in limited edition white boy summer can.
I call the Dixie cuck beer because during last year's summer of peace they announced that they would change their name because of muh racisms. It really is good though. Its very flavorful and they did a good job of balancing the roasted malt and hops. It gets an A in my book, but I'll never buy another bottle if they rebrand.

Went through a six pack of Dragon's Milk White.

It's good stuff. It's local stuff so you can get it at the corner store.

New Holland's stuff is pretty exemplary overall. There's another Dragon's Milk variant called Solera that's also quite good.

Toppling Goliath rolled out another kettle sour recently, a pineapple-papaya variant of Dragon Fandango. Pretty tasty, a little on the sweet side but good. The papaya doesn't really come through super-strong which is fine because papaya's a bit on the boring side, mostly just sweet. Surprised at how clear it pours, head's very light and frothy, not much body but makes it an easy drinker. Little bit of booziness on the finish. I've got my eyes on a fancy new stout (?) from Insight, comes in a 750ml bomber, strongly considering taking it home soon and putting it in a dark place for a few months minimum.
 
I've never been a big beer fan, but I'm always looking to try new things to find what I do/don't like.

Sour beers or wild ales are actually great though. Had a kriek/sour cherry beer and it was nice. Similarly, I discovered fruity lambic beers. They have very low alcohol content though so it's like drinking sparkling fruit juice. But better. Wheat beers seem promising to me.

You know what makes me happy? A really good black and tan.

Guinness stout mixed with a good pale ale is a nice slice of heaven for me.

Guinness isn't my favorite for actually drinking but it makes a great reduction. Half Guinness, half brown sugar, heat until it just barely starts to bubble, reduce heat, simmer until reduced to about half its volume. Great to top your favorite pot roast recipe, also you can substitute Guinness for some of the beef broth.

You can really use any stout but if it's better than Guinness I'd generally prefer to drink it.

Firestone special releases these have all been amazing. Especially the dark ray. Top of my list are porter's and stouts.

Had Firestone Walker Kriekey Bones? That's a sour cherry, good beer. You'll probably like Pilsner's too. Timmermans strawberry was good, can't find it anywhere anymore though. Also Petrus Cherry Chocolate stout is really good.

I cannot for the life of me drink beer. Think it tastes like carbonated piss half the time. I usually drink liquor instead. When I do drink by the bottle, it's typically hard ciders.
