Just a reminder that birds can have a really hard time finding fresh water in winter; if you make a habit of putting out a shallow pan they'll likely be attracted pretty quickly. There are also drippers and heaters you can use to keep birdbaths from freezing over completely:

Water attracts many birds that wouldn't normally stop at feeders too, which is nice:)

Kakapo chicks. Kakapos are the largest parrots, they're also terrestrial and move around by hopping and climbing.
