The Lamintion episode has references to the crime thriller Juice.

It's free on Youtube currently.

Seasons 1-3 of Boondocks still holds up. I don't really like the comics strips though.

Is his other show black jesus any good?

Thought I decided to bring back this thread after finding out an artist by the name of Marcus Williams made this tribute to John Witherspoon after he passed away back in 2019:

You can check out some of his art here:

To be fair, I also didn’t know Samuel L. Jackson voiced Gin Rummy. I kept thinking of him voicing Officer Tenpenny during the time I played GTA: San Andreas, and I thought to myself, “He voiced a character in The Boondocks, too?”
Sam is in fucking everything. He voiced Afro Samurai and Ninja Ninja.

Just found out Ed Asner passed away at the age of 91, and a lot of people don’t know that on The Boondocks, he was the reason why the Wuncler family were very affluent in the suburbs:

RIP Ed Asner. Thanks for voicing our friendly Woodcrest White man. Ed Wuncler II wasn't a good character.

Already unlikable compared to III.

He was by far the worst part of the already shitty season 4. They literally just made a generic evil rich guy when the Wuncelers were entertaining assholes.

EDIT: I really don't think anyone can ever top Ed Asner

The only hope for the reboot is that they had stuff recorded for it already and are just doing animation. Otherwise it probably won’t be good or cancelled especially since John Witherspoon is not in it
