There's an undeniable attraction when it comes to lolcows on the internet. DSP for example inadvertently managed to draw out people like Fred Fuchs, Vidar, and everyone associated with Jonathan Ross just by being himself.

But in the case of Wise and Boyd, I think it goes beyond a couple of autists failing to lay low on the internet. Rather I think it's the result of a couple of shitty weens winning the autistic powerball by getting Chris to believe them. If you look at the Operation Kingsnake thread, you'll find lots of people using shitty ruses to try and get his attention. I can't say for sure that any of those people wouldn't have done the same thing Wise and Boyd are said to have done, but these two are by far the worst people to have any form of power over Chris.

Helpful to what, though? It would be helpful in terms of publicly showing what assholes these two are, but it might not be helpful to actual prosecution if it comes to that. I'd say it's best to keep a fair amount inside the vest until it becomes clear that there will be no legal consequence for these idiots. I was under the impression that there is still hope that someone will take up the case (I saw that Riketa Law on YT did a good video on the subject without divulging much specific info).

I'd say civil action might be on the table as well but realistically this is probably too complicated and the fees for a private attorney could easily exceed the claim.

Nobody is white knighting.

Chris is a human being at the end of the day. One who is easily led, but a human being regardless. His mental state leaves a lot to be desired, and people are genuinely concerned about what will happen to him when his mother dies since he has little to no skills and has never lived on his own.

Chris used to be really, REALLY fun to laugh at and seeing him being prodded like a feral animal locked in cage and sperging out was nothing less of hilarious to my teenage self.
I had a hearty giggle at him laying on the floor in defeat at TMG and when he makes videos begging for money.
Keeping up with him is overall amusing and that's why I've always stayed tuned to the twenty car highway collision that is his life.

But every now and then someone does something vicious to Chris and my moralfag has to bleed through when he has my sincere pity.
Chris is an awful person but he's got the mind of a child. We can't fully blame him for being so grandiose with his ideas of himself and CWCville.
To him CWCville is a real place and it always has been. For him to believe CWCville was under attack...he'd do anything.

When Barb dies, he'll either be sexually exploited by whoever "adopts" him or he'll end up in a live-in facility for special needs people that can't take care of themselves.
Had no idea that all of the bank nonsense with the Branchland house and the bank meant that the bank would get the house when Barb dies.
