Kos has pretty much been a shithole of shit-flinging howler monkeys since at the latest 2008 or so. The only people remaining there are literally too stupid to understand that the EU is not a progressive institution at all (it's a neoliberal pro-corporate globalization operation) and that there were entirely good reasons to want out of it.

It's been basically irrelevant for years since Kos tried to turn it into his own personal political army and the userbase rebelled and left. Now he just has a core of screeching SJWs who fling shit like howler monkeys at anything non-SJW.

It's been a really long time since I posted anything to dailykos. There is something however that I think is important to clarify.

Months ago, George Ortega talked me and a few others into posting free will related articles onto dailykos. I was reluctant but I went ahead and put my two cents in because the free will topic is important to me. I also shared them to Facebook and so it's possible that a few of my friends may remember them.

However, George did not approve of some things that I wrote in my posts. He wanted me to write things in the way that he wanted. So he begged me to delete what I had up and then republish his edited version of my post. That post is titled: "How Free Will Belief Fuels Mean-spirited Politics".

However I was quite displeased after this experience. George sent a list of guidelines to the group of cohosts of which I am part of. I will not share the whole list here because my purpose of this post is to explain why I quit posting on dailykos(and perhaps never should have started to begin with).

The reason that these were guidelines were due to some specific things I had written about abortion in my original post, which George insisted I delete. Additionally, that post had a header image of Bernie Sanders riding a unicorn. I happen to like unicorns, but apparently George thinks Dailykos is not the place for unicorns or people like me who are anti-abortion.

And you know what? He's probably right. That's the short story of why I quit listening to George when it comes to politics and no longer participate in the project he wanted me to. I know that George may not like me saying this, but honesty comes first over and political agenda that George has. I'm not saying this to upset George. The main thing is to explain why I deleted the old post that some had already commented on. I don't want people to be confused about the truth of why this happened.

Also, people were accusing George of creating multiple accounts and pretending to be different people for the sake of his agenda. So it's important for me to tell dailykos that this is a plain flat lie.

George and I are two very different people. Anyone who does a quick google search for Chandler Klebs or George Ortega can see tons of videos of both of us and see the differences. He's a democratic Hillary Clinton supporter and I'm basically unconcerned with politics and care only about reducing blame and violence. The connection between me and George is strictly limited to the agreement we have that free will is a completely nonsensical idea and one that leads to a lot of blame, hatred and violence.

I hope this post has cleared up any confusion that may have been caused by my involvement on dailykos back in May of 2016. Also, to this day I still see nothing wrong with unicorns. I also think Bernie Sanders is a pretty cool dude.

I'm shocked this site has a community thread already but also it's been abanoned for so long. Daily Kos is a goldmine, because it's essentially become a very insular community of nut jobs. Is Democratic Underground still around? I remember DailyKos being relevant in the early Obama years, it seems like it has gone the Shakesville route of becoming a weird cult after all the more normal members left.
