what ACTUALLY matters is that Redguard Male and Nordic Female marriage is possible
Also a very generic noob question but it's probably almost a unwritten fact that TES6 will be in Hammerfell right? At least there are quite some rumours who lead to that place. Also since Hammerfell is the home of the Nig......Redguards it would perfectly fit in the current political climate of the gaming industry. Already see it before my eyes as a WE WUUZING mix of old Egypt and the Arabic world.
I fucking HOPE they also add high rock with their French style knights/mages faggotry but hey that's WAYCIST!
If I were so bold, I'd say they could tackle both Hammerfell and High Rock (maybe throw Orsinium in as well, or at least as a DLC) at the same time. They'd be coming off of creating a galaxy for Starfield, having a single province on the scale of Skyrim (or Fallout 4's Boston, that was condensed as hell) would feel a bit quaint after leaving the series on the backburner for over a decade.
Really though, the scale needs to be bigger so that villages aren't a stone's throw away from one another.
Never really dived that deep into the lore of TES but from what I remember from Oblivion was that the Nords used to be a bit different in some aspects before Skyrim came out, so it wouldn't suprise me if they also do some lore friendly "adjustments" on the Redguards. And yeah you can definetly expect that they would implement some dose of the usual "black history" bullshit.

Maybe, but I'd still like to see Hammerfell for the deserts, chance for pirate gameplay (they managed to get space combat working for Starfield, I think boats wouldn't be as complicated to implement), and the last chance to create more Dwemer Ruins (loved that shit so much in Skyrim, I'd like to see such dungeons go out with a bang).
Besides, TES VI is still years away, who knows if woke bullshit would still be "in vogue" by the time that game comes out ().

The only thing I hope for is that they don't skip serveral centuries again after the events of Skyrim. The canon death of the Emperor, the end of the civil war in Skyrim and some other major events give some very interesting options for the next TES storyline.
Dark Brotherhood on the brink of extinction and probably hunted by Imperial spies, Nightingales restored, Stormcloakes maybe won the civil war causing a Imperial counteroffensive on Skyrim and a suprise attack by the Thalmor or Imperials won the civil war and they are preparing to drive out the High Elves from the Southern Provinces again.
I cannot think of any same sex relationship in Daggerfall outside of bugs that caused a dude to talk about his husband in generic dialogue instead of his wife, which once again, were bugs. Also, a prime example of faggots ruining Morrowind dicussion. Hey, dipshits, the ancient Greeks actually had gods that changed gender and form and fucked dudes. They'd also kick your ass if you tried to explain modern day LGBTQPMJASFIHOP to them.

Hammerfell just makes sense where the story and gameplay are heading to. The Thalmor tried to annex them during/after the Great War but failed, and if Bethesda finally manages to get off Gamebryo they could push the Radiant system to have random large scale battles and skirmishes take place.

1. Daedra are not able to trans, gay, whatever other term, they're sexless in every sense since they came about during initial creation, not reproducing like lower lifeforms.
2. Homsexual marriage exists in Skyrim because Todd was too lazy to program preferences in, like the companions in Fallout 4.
3. Vivec was a coombrain after being god-like for thousands of years, and just did whatever could get him off.
These guys don't actually care about Elder Scrolls lore, they just wanna use the games as a backboard so they can validate whatever weird identity issues they're struggling with. I guess it's decent confirmation that ESO isn't worth playing if the people working on the fucking game are like this too.
Video game corporation using lgbt as a shield from criticism and a marketing ploy, followed by social media addicts pretending to be avid fans because of a few wiki dives and a couple let's plays. More at 11.
Old screencap, but relevant regardless. A shout out to all the poor employees out there working for companies like Zenimax that would probably fire you if you did not tell others how proud you are of being forced to write in gay characters for an MMO story that nobody cares about.
I'm not sure why you guys are pessimistic about a main Elder Scrolls game tackling an elf or beast province, ESO has so much content for those provinces (both in the base game and expansions) that they've had plenty of mainstream exposure. I've seen a bunch of other players in Vvardenfell on Xbox, and that's one of the most alien places in the series (I wouldn't be shocked if people tried the original Morrowind since it's also on Game Pass).
Plus, it's fucking Elder Scrolls, people would go crazy for this series regardless of where it's set (barring Bethesda fucking up royally).

Was playing ESO because i caved and got the steam sale and was having a nostalgia trip in Vvarenfell so I bought the whole thing. Theres lesbians in a non intrusive way in Vvarenfell but honestly they also ride bugs, condone slavery in the houses you need to levitate to get to(in Morrowind), say the N word freely, and can legally kill you with a contract... so two women being married (the one who is the foreman of the new building in Vivec City) doesn't really stick out to me as un-dark elfy.
BUT In the Sommerset expansion I came for haha racist elves (part 2) but finished a quest where one of the highlights was a charachter turned out to be a tranny who used MAGIC to gender change. Post quest you could talk to them about gender. Also ofc it's a fucking elf. Elderbros... i don't feel so good.
My only other complaints other than the paystore is that there was a fucking cringe tier voice acting for one of the main quests in Deshaan ( like it was Oblivion level bad with how autistic and unemotional the woman sounded.) Oh and Cliff Striders do not scare me as much as they should.
Redguardlands I haven't played much of the lore in but from what it looks like, it seems really neat. I've only run around there to to get the XP from locations but when I play it, I will give the class my report on if it got wokefucked or not. I'm hoping not because the Redguard lore is actually based a lot on HINDUISM and therefore is really refreshing. Most Elderscrolls lore is a good mishmash of ideas so it's not like "wow this race is clearly a cry for real world ____".
Their basis in belief is very hindu as one of the writers who brought in all that lore for them was also working on the original ES (he left before skyrim) which is why Vivec is the way he is. The Redguard believe in creation, matinence, and destruction of the world as well as a period in between when there's nothing.
It also explains how the dragons originally worked after they splintered off with Aldiun as the world eater who was supposed to eat the world but then really liked humans worshipping him so he became a tyrant. So they had to defeat him for the sake of a future person to figure out but forgot and put the prophecy wall hidden behind a bloodseal so everyone forgot about the signs Alduin was coming (like oblvion gates, civil war etc.). Then you clap his cheeks as the dragon born.
Basically tl;dr lore good. Pls don't Dragon Age level fuck it up.

The writer you're talking about is Michael Kirkbride, who wrote The Elder Scrolls Adventures Redguard and Morrowind, and later did contract work for Oblivion DLC and ESO. A lot of people think he did drugs to write Morrowind's lore, but he denies that and says he was just studying eastern religions at the time.

He's stated he did contract work on ESO, but isn't credited. I'm not sure exactly what he did (besides 37th sermon of vivec), but I vaguely recall his wife Lady Nerevar saying he did stuff for the DLCs. I know one of the Loremasters (an actual job title) has said they've consulted MK.
