The Elder Scrolls

I abused it on 0.47, so unless I was using some mod that restored that, it works on OMW

Devs of OpenMW see it as a feature. But one of them made a Lua mod to prevent the exploit instead.

Thanks, guys. Guess it really has been a while :story:

Now, if only they could fix the Lady birthsign... (I'm aware of the mod)

Edit: I was confusing the mod I linked with an earlier mod from years ago. According to the mod description linked above, the Lady is actually fixed in vanilla OpenMW. I can't find any confirmation of that on the main site or GitLab, so I dunno? You tell me.

The issue you linked is already closed.

Gitlab has terrible search, thats why it doesn't come up

Here's why I couldn't give a fuck less. Back in 2013 I checked the modding scene for a simple fix of the Companions base since you become the fucking leader but the room you're given has stolen tags everywhere. Also there was a weapon mount for broken pieces of that elf killing axe but once you repaired it, it was just a blank space on the wall. After searching for days on the nexus for a simple clean mod, it took me, a literal retard, all of 5 days to clean up the fucking building and place a weapon rack hidden behind the wall with activators so the fucking axe would mount flush with the set piece. Bethesda is fucking lazy, and modders are over estimating their talents by fucking far. We don't need 20 more players homes with some faggot bard barking out dumb shit every time you step in the place, we just need the vanilla experience to fucking work for once. And no, I will never upload my mods because I want all you to figure out how to mod like I did and see how piss easy it is.

Since most of this thread seems to just revolve around how shit bethesda is and/or has always been when its not jerking off over midtier mods, here's this. Haven't watched it yet, but Jakey had some good takes on Rockstar and NaughtyDog

I'm gonna crosspost this on the Starfield thread thank you very much

It just occurred to me that Skyrim's 10th anniversary was 2 years ago and in 5 months Online is going to be a decade old as well. It's not only the most recent TES installment but also the most graphically advanced (No, mobile/card games don't count) . A little depressing if you think about it. I might legitimately turn 40 before TES6 releases.

This guy reviews the new creation club content. Also points to some free alternatives to some of them.

Edit: The East Empire expansion actually sounds interesting. Still not willing to pay for it though.
The comments are getting pretty spicy. There's even one dude talking about Elianora banging Robin, the Nexus CEO, to get a job at Bethesda.

I wish they'd just STOP BREAKING MY FUCKING MODS.

I shouldn't have to downgrade the fucking game.
All you had to do is set the appmanifest file to read-only. I haven't updated my Skyrim since January last year (1.6.353) and everything works fine.

These "creations" aren't for PC players and that's why Bethesda has never given a shit about breaking mods every update. For PC players they're laughable because they can't use or require any outside resources (like SKSE, FNIS/Nemesis, PapyrusUtil, etc) so what they can actually do compared to Bethesda's in-house DLC like Dragonborn is severely limited. But for console players a shitty new dungeon and a shitty mini-expansion for the East Empire Company is a lot more impressive. Personally I'm interested to see how this goes, because these creations don't have a requirement to be compatible with even other creations, so the first time that someone buys two of them and they completely break their game because they conflict there's going to be a shitstorm.

My PC version is locked down tight but I'm pissed it looked like my steam Deck download got updated automatically.

Regardless, it shouldn't even be a thing at this point. Bethesda refusing to leave a decent decade old game alone out of greed is beyond the pale obnoxious.

Even furry degenerates realize that if Ulfric fucked a Khajiit, it wouldn't be within the city gates.

No thieving cats rugs allowed.

Edit: The more I think about it, the more annoyed I am that someone made a paid mod bringing a gun into Skyrim but it's just a glorified crossbow with explosive bolts.

Even simpler, literally just turn off automatic updates on Steam and launch the game through SKSE with MO2, never even updated from 1.5.97. Todd can take my painstakingly (and autistically) tested, STABLE load order from my cold, dead hands.
