It's clear at this point that Micky is Bi-Polar tranny retard, who's likely in a state of mania after his long depressive episode. This is a situation that reminds me of something LTT would do. Where Micky misrepresent something and then starts shitting on someone with a much smaller platform after getting some mild push back for it. The guy wasn't particularly salty and he didn't even comment on Micky's video or talk to him directly at all.

Wccftech: “Majority” of Bethesda is on The Elder Scrolls VI Says Todd Howard, More Starfield News Coming “Soon,” But There is no “Starfield 2.0” (archive)

"does not have a confirmed release window or platforms"

There's no way it's not targeting Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 (with or without an Xbox exclusivity period). Even if the game comes out in 2031, it probably wouldn't be for "Xbox Magnus" and PS6.

TES VI will use Creation Engine 3, just let it go Todd:

For fuck's sake. The game has been announced longer than it took to get that piddly teaser than it was from Skyrim to that, and all this time later the only bit of news is that they're using the engine held together with nothing but a fool's hope and cum.

Todd really needs to tell the trannies to shut the fuck up and deal with having to learning an engine not made in the 90s.

Their engine isn't the problem (other than handling errors by crashing), if they weren't using their engine they'd be using UE5 and we've seen what that is like with Oblivion

With correct technical know how you can also make any engine do basically anything.
The problem is that Bethesda has just coasted on the success of Skyrim for 15 years, and has clearly hired based on qualities that have nothing to do with talent.
This has built up a lot of technical debt that has been around for over two decades

This always annoys me with people bitching about "Muh gamebryo."

The issues isnt the engine, the issue is that Bethesda is lazy and incompetent. Modders fix bugs they have had with their engine over and over that they simply ignore and let bleed into the next release via some simple modding.

Modders figured out how to get vehicles running in fucking New Vegas. Bethesda has people who are paid to work with this fucking engine sixteen hours a day. You cannot reasonably tell me they can't make the games perform well and that switching to Unreal would magically make all their technical issues disappear. It's a retarded normie's bandaid fix for an issue that can only be solved by hiring people who give a fuck and know what they are doing.

People are still releasing great games, in le current year, based off the Doom engine. Valve has done everything from FPS games, to MOBAs, to animation tools, to that card game no one liked with Source. The issue isn't the engine, the issue is that when Bethesda says "We're not changing the engine" that means "We're making an even dumbererer version of Morrowind with a fresh coat of paint."

Honestly, the Creation Engine is the biggest thing going for BGS. Everything about it is either perfectly suited for modders or for making immersive open world RPGs with loads of player interactions. You can load hundreds of mods and everything runs about as smoothly as it does out of the box. I think the engine's biggest problem is its lack of visual fidelity, which admittedly I don't know if it's fixable.

I think our best hope is that the whole Creation Club thing has been their way of talent scouting to find people who are capable, familiar with the Creation Engine, and passionate.

Anyway, I'm really hoping the comment about it being classic Bethesda means they're moving away from the sandbox make your own fun philosophy of game design and ideally making an actual RPG. I think both Fallout 76 at launch and Starfield really showed that while some sandbox elements can be fun, you have to provide players with at least some structure and narrative in this sort of game. Even BOTW had the shrines and Korok puzzles

This is literally what CDPR believes except everyone who knows how REDengine works has long since run for the hills. It's going to blow up in their faces oh what a time to be alive.

most people complain about CE as a joke mein neger, you fell for the bait.
obviously there are absolute demented mongoloids that believe todd should get rid of a extremely moddable engine for urine engine 5 or even unity, both engines that are extremely hard to mod and extended scripting is just downright impossible, unlike CE, not to mention putting a wrench on microshart's plans which is selling mods and hoping niggercattle won't break programming and look for versions of paid mods being hosted somewhere else.
Entirely fixable. Like I said before, you can make any engine do anything with enough work and talent.
Same engine

so what you saying is that bethesda should continue with the current gamebyro but update it? just like todd said?

I had totally forgotten how nonsensical the item weights were in Oblivion until I started replaying it.

Memba when a katana weighed 32 fucking pounds for some reason? I memba.

That would be the best option yes.
Having to license a new engine would likely kill the modding scene, which is one of the few remaining selling points for bethesda titles.

I would not focus on graphical improvements though.
Games haven't really improved that much the last decade to make it worth it.
They should focus on more longstanding problems related to AI, physics, and scope limitations.
I would bet that a new elder scrolls title with bigger cities and actual armies would sell better than a photorealistic elder scrolls game where you can see every pore on the face of an NPC

As usual, I take the third position and say that instead of continuing to bolt shit to Gamebryo, or license a shitty mass market engine, instead make a new one from the ground up. Have it include all requirements for what the studio is famous for, but it won't all the technical debt for which it's infamous for.
