I've only played ESO for like 1 hour, got bored and uninstalled. Also I learned it has level-scaling which is antithetical to MMORPG's in my opinion. My main problem with it from a lore-perspective is that the game takes place around 800 years before Morrowind, but of course as an MMO they have to keep introducing a new big bad every expansion. This leads to a timeframe with several different world-ending threats that take place shortly after one another. But of course nobody in the future talks about how Molag Bal invaded Nirn, or the several other cataclysmic events, because they forgot to write it down or something.
Besides playing fast and loose with the old lore and established canon, they introduced a new Daedric Prince. Her name is Ithelia and her existence is rather annoying. To my understanding they occasionally do something right because people seemed to like how the game expanded on Sotha Sil for example. I guess at the very least ESO is appealing because you get to see areas not really covered in the main games.

This fucking nigger.
In proper times we woulda tied him to a horse and dragged him behind them at full gallop to the next town over.

Reminds me of this furry troon.
E: The above was a black lives matter donation scam too. They tried to get people to donate promising this shit.

I recommend people learn from well made mod lists in order to properly build your own.
Honestly I would argue people should try modding on their own, then start looking into mod lists when they know how mods work and how to fix common issues.
Mod lists should be for when you want a basic setup after starting over.
Honestly never liked the +3000 mod lists, like 90% of it is just retexturing every blade of grass and speck of dirt in Skyrim, plus some shitty combat mods and awful ENB on top of it.

Also Total Bandit Death

Pre-made mod lists are fucking gay. Learn to mod vidya game properly you troglodytes.
I think using them is understandable for people who don’t have the time to set up their own. I vastly prefer being able to choose my own mods though.

Hey how is ESO these days? I haven’t really played it in 2 years but I have an account almost 10 years old.

Simply put, everything became repetitive and my computer storage management is shit and it is slow af on my old computer.

Buuuut I am interested in if it’s worth getting back into.

Has NPC companions now you take on dungeon crawls if you hate people, some of the new 12 mans are pretty fun. Oh and they dropped a fucking content pass that will have less, not include the eso+ and have less then the new chapters. I stopped playing around High Isle release which i enjoyed for the story content. No idea on what gold road was like but it dropped to basically half price a few months after release.

Basically with the content pass it's turned to Turds but if you ever get the itch to do a Doelman run might be worth it, before they inevitably shut the server down.

I have difficulty thinking of an MMO that constantly wants money as much as ESO.

Clearly you've never seen black desert online.
BDO is an MMO? I always wondered what kind of game it was after downloading probably a hundred ports of armors from BDO into Skyrim. Some actually fit in quite well while others are hilariously out of place. Here's a link to armors you can't find on Nexus. Don't worry, there's no malware and it's more SFW than the Nexus top mods page.

It's a South Korean MMORPG which if you're unaware of the reputation, let's just say they have a habit of being hungry for all of your money.

It drives me FUCKING NUTS when somebody shows off their modded Skyrim and it's fucking Dark Souls Ubislop with DMC katana moves modded in. What the fuck are you doing, man? Just play a different game at that point.

Russian sites and having mods with copyright material go together like peanut butter and chocolate.

Yep any Korean MMO is literal pay2win you want to see money hungry just check the nips out. At least with ESO it's mostly optional cosmetics (excluding the craft bag, i hate the sub for it but damn if it isn't helpful) or it was now with that content pass it's not good value anymore.
