it does sound more interesting but it also sounds like a pipedream. we'll see if it actually releases.

IDK, for me it's about as buggy as classic Oblivion.

As for being unoptimized, I'm getting it to run fairly well on high settings on my rig. But I also have the miracle rig that can run shit decent since I didn't design it around 4k 120fps bullshit.
 
Sorry for the double post, but does anyone follow Elder Kings?

Apparently there's some drama with the devs about adding ESO elements or something? I heard they nuked their discord over it but I don't know if that's hyperbole or not.

In my personal view the remaster as far as PC is a no-go due the optimization issues, I’ve gotten so sick of developers only working with the newest GPUs that I’ve been playing all my games on console, it works better there

i still can't believe the premise of the game was Molag doing the same shit Mehrunes tried but far earlier in the timeline with no one ever remembering

It would've made more sense for him to launch the invasion in Oblivion originally considering Vivec wrote about learning CHIM from him. Kind of tie into that. I suppose all the Daedric Lords know what's going on in the greater scheme of things, but Dagon is so generic. They even went out of their way to make Molag into some cosmic experimenting genius with those weird crossbreeds between daedra he created.

It’s also funny because I’m replaying Morrowind right now and I just got to the Imperial Cult quest where you have to collect alms for the poor from the Argonian Mission in Ebonheart. Half the Argonians there won’t even talk to you and the guy in charge only begrudgingly donates after reminding that you that they’re still upset over the Empire letting the Dunmer literally enslave and murder them. Hell, after Oblivion happened Black Marsh was literally taken over by seething Argonian nationalists who seceded from the Empire and began attacking Morrowind because of the whole millennia of slavery thing that the Imperials never stopped.

But hey man, remember that time the Argonians and Dunmer just teamed up to fight off a bunch of Daedra in the Second Era? Just don’t think about it bro we needed three factions for gameplay purposes

There WILL be tranny and nonbinary NPCs in TES 6
There WILL be lore books codifying tranny ideology ingame that read like a Bluesky post
Redditors WILL use Vivec to defend this
There WILL be an online shitstorm when people make fun of it
You WILL accept the new canon
