I'm not talking about when they literally repackage and resell the same game. It was in reference to people who believe there's barely any difference between Bethesda games.I fail to see how they fail to see how they're not doing this with Skyrim.
FO4 predates Skyrim SE, so I assume it was using the most up-to-date version of CE before Starfield.this nigga eats raw tofu.
not even that, most of the changes in CE is from FO4, not Skyrim.
so basically they are probably re-adding all of the skyrim shit plus the potential for censorship and mod selling that saarfield had but even more refined, for as much as they not publicly said they don't like coom mods, their modding guidelines make it clear as day though and i don't know if that is inherited from jeetsoft or if it's jeetthesda on their own since their attempts to make coom modding near impossible started with FO4.
Having towns full of procgen NPCs was a mistake in the first place. It was something they were right to move away from in Morrowind. I don't want a Bethesda game to feel like GTA or Cyberpunk.Would it have still sucked? Yeah probably. But it would have at least felt busier and might have bought them enough time for the A team to stop fixing 76 and go fix Starfield.
the true fan is the one that consumes it whenever, i have all skyrim versions and todd is smiling at me imperial, can you say the same?which of us is the true fan?

skyrim SE doesn't have the engine changes that FO4 has which was made worse on saarfield, shit like two piece armor, model materials, animation sets... so much so most of the LE mods have been ported to SE, the only ones that haven't been is because the mod makers can't be arsed or aren't living with us anymoreFO4 predates Skyrim SE, so I assume it was using the most up-to-date version of CE before Starfield.
Nah, i don't consider Creation crap.the true fan is the one that consumes it whenever, i have all skyrim versions and todd is smiling at me imperial, can you say the same?
Actuay Skyrim SE had the FO4 engine changes. Godrays are the best example.skyrim SE doesn't have the engine changes that FO4 has which was made worse on saarfield, shit like two piece armor, model materials, animation sets... so much so most of the LE mods have been ported to SE, the only ones that haven't been is because the mod makers can't be arsed or aren't living with us anymore![]()
You should give tamriel rebuilt a go it ranges from good to fucking inspired.no, i just don't like using mods unless it's to fix something broken
saddest shit is if it were released today, it'd be one of the best games of the decadeI like Skyrim but it's very evident just how much of the game is carried by the atmosphere and presentation. The main quest is okay, nothing to write home about. The guild questlines are almost all bad. The civil war question is even worse. The RPG mechanics are so dumbed down that the game just feels dull to play. The combat? lol. The sneaking is barebones and fun for like the first two dungeons.
Yeah, it's been months since another Skyrim rerelease.saddest shit is if it were released today
What's real sad is just how mind-blowing Skyrim still is to so many retards. When skyrim came out, and then with every re-release they've done, I've been repeatedly astounded at how few people actually play these types of games and how any amount of player freedom is almost overwhelming.saddest shit is if it were released today, it'd be one of the best games of the decade
fuck this gay industry
maybe that's because indie and AA- are trying their hardest to copy skyrim instead of copying said games? if they did a morrowind roguelite esque friendslop game it could launch well granted you know what to QoL over morrowind... don't even need to make photorealistic graphics either. What's real sad is just how mind-blowing Skyrim still is to so many retards. Its why Oblivion and Morrowind are treated like these magical hidden gems now, and Daggerfall causes a fucking existential crisis.
That's just Balmora, the bitch that runs that outfit has a (justified) hatred of the Telvanni, on account of the fact that they killed her parents.Forgot how much of a trip the Morrowind Mage's Guild is
Quest 1: Collect some mushrooms for me :3
Quest 2: Collect some flowers for me :3
Quest 3: A member of our organization is not paying his guild dues. Collect his debt. If he does not pay, kill him.
Quest 4: A former Telvanni mage is located in this town. Convince him to join us. If he does not join, kill him.
should have been more powerful, smhThat's just Balmora, the bitch that runs that outfit has a (justified) hatred of the Telvanni, on account of the fact that they killed her parents.
What's infuriating is how nobody at Bethesda seems to actually understand what people mean when they say they want more Morrowind. They don't mean "bring back clunky ass combat" or "fill my screen with obtuse stat blocks", they mean they want an immersive open world RPG in an alien world full of depth regarding culture, aesthetic, tension, politics, and reactivity. A world you cam get lost in and feel like a part of. None of the games do this quite as well as
The Forsworn definitely seem to fit that bill just fine. They wear animal furs, do savage blood magic, leave mutilated animals all over the place, and commune with inhuman witches for power while living in shitty tents made out of hides, or living in caves and ruins. Their most powerful unit is a guy whose heart was cut out and replaced with a briar heart. Yeah, they're shittily implemented and there's almost nothing interesting about them or what they're doing, but they are very much exactly what you are describing as far as barbarians go.While we're talking about Skyrim being safe, you know what I find weird? Skyrim doesn't have any barbarians. The closest I can think of is the Stormcloaks since the officers wear bear pelts.
Personally I'd gladly swap entire generic bandit camps and instead have to deal with one half-naked lunatic squatting in a cave. he doesn't attack you but the Jarl will still pay you to deal with him because he's leaving mutilated wolves all over the road and scaring off travellers. The Greybeards shouldn't be Jedi masters, they should be sitting around a fire in the middle of High Hrothgar throwing gnawed troll bones at you and telling you to bring them fresh bear pelts and hallucinogenic mushrooms before they shout you off the mountain for your faggot Dragonborn nonsense
The only quest I can remember that felt distinctly 'Nord-like' is the Stormcloak initiation where they tell you to go kill an Ice Wraith. Not just because it's a reference to the Pocket Guide where killing Ice Wraiths is a traditional Nord rite of passage but because it's more about travelling across the ice floes than actually fighting the thing, which coincidentally feels very much like a "go to this obscure unmarked spot and get me shit then come back" Morrowind quest.
Playing through it with a mod like Frostfall is a significant challenge as swimming through icy water is more or less inevitable, and it's thematically appropriate, because it means playing as a Nord with cold resistance is a big advantage when joining the Nord faction. It was one of my favourite parts of my last playthrough. With Oblivion it makes sense that quests are mostly focused on the cities with all their newfangled scripting but I really wish Skyrim had taken the opportunity to go for a more dispersed population.
He says right in the post, there are no real Nords, just pale Imperials, down to the Gods they worship. Kyne only gets namedropped by like 5 characters in the whole game despite it being made a big deal on how she is so central to the religion of the Nords in previous games, and is quite distinct from Kynareth. To put it another way, the Ashlanders represent a primitive Dunmer lifestyle more similar to the Chimer of old, and are a valuable insight into the culture of Resdayn and how things have changed for the Dunmer over the centuries. It emphasizes how the Dunmer are strange compared to the baseline of the Imperials, clearly done via the design of the world of starting you in an Imperial town, then directing you to a Hlaalu city, and slow boils the alien qualities of the culture if following the main quest, then hits you with the Ashlanders as strange compared to the now familiar Great House Dunmer. Even though it is clear the Nords are Imperialized, they don't play around with it; they don't emphasize one region as being more traditional than another beyond lip service in the Stormcloak quests. At no point are you ever truly immersed in Nordic culture, feel as though, as an outsider, you have become familiar with and even accepted in a strange, alien, but noble culture and the character transformed from an unfortunate smuck who got grabbed and sent off to the chopping block, to local messianic avatar of their chief God, Shor in the same way Morrowind does it with the quest to become the Nerevarine.I am not entirely sure what you mean by "barbarian" if the Forsworn don't count.
We're talking ass-naked crowds of berserkers and fryse hags hanging out in the snow like in bloodmoon. You are right to say that the forsworn fit the bill pretty well, but ironically they're Bretons and not Nords.I am not entirely sure what you mean by "barbarian" if the Forsworn don't count.
