Some of Kirkbride's ideas are interesting and unique and would make for some good content, like the Thalmor's supposed true goals, some lore for races, the origin of Minotaurs, how Lorkhan fell, etc while many others are just batshit stupid or insane, or its just him wanking himself off for the sake of his ego.

The man needed a fucking editor to hold him down or someone to stop him from ever joining reddit where he just went all out on the smug.

ESO was also better off not introducing cosmic bullshit to explain how Kirkbride's version of Cyrodiil actually still existed somehow and just leaving it as an example of historical misinterpretation or propaganda. I mean there are still people who sperg over "muh rice-based economy" or complain about the lack of giant walking trees despite how inadequate this would be in-game wise while also ignoring that Cyrodiil as we see it in IV predates Kirkbride's ideas. Not everything Kirkbride says has to be treated as Gospel.

Only downside is that Skyrim ended up being too low fantasy by distancing itself too far from his bullshit. I mean hell you don't even see any dreugh or snow whales. Some compromise on one end and moderation on the other would do wonders. But not in the way ESO handled it.
